Ugh! Today are finals and I'm already stressed out enough. But at the end of the day I'm praying that Mackenzie's plan works. I only have 1 more day before I leave

I only have finals in two classes so imma just get them over with then chill out in the gym with Dashaan & Terah. Terah is new to the group, she's been here but never spoke. She likes Dashaan which is weird but she cool or whatever

(4 hours later)

I only had two test today so for the rest of the day I was in the gym. When I walked in the first person I saw was Lexi. Her soft brown skin, bright red lip stick, and her hair was straight. The next person I saw was terah and that was because her hair was bigger than her! It was like a lions mane, but she cute or whatever. I sat on the bleachers near Mackenzie we were discussing the plan....

Mackenzie: so remember right when-- Jacob? (Waves hand in face) Jacob!

Jacob: huh? Oh sorry

I got distracted when Lexi and her crew walked by

(Lexi's POV)

Terah: ain't that yo step bro?

Lexi: mhmm yea (rolls eyes)

Terah: he cute (whispers) but not cuter than Dashaan!

Dashaan: I heard that terah (winks)

Terah: (flirtatious) oops!

Lexi: eww (rolls her eyes)

Dashaan: says the girl who kissed her Foster broth--

I didn't even let that bitch finish his sentence. I smacked him. And I smacked him hard. Then I ran out of the gym feeling a tear fall down my cheek

(Jacob's POV)

Terah: Lexi!

Jacob: (jacks Dashaan up) what did you say to her?!

Dashaan: bruh get the fuck off of me (pushes him)

Jacob: If you ever make her cry again, I swear that'll be the last day you see the light! (Runs out of the gym)

I ran out the gym and turned the corner and there she was. On the floor with her head buried in her knees.

Jacob: Lexi get up

Lexi: leave me alone.

Jacob: Lexi please--

Lexi: (gets in his face) enough Jacob! I'm tired of all this bull shit I have to deal with in my life!

Jacob: maybe if you stop being stubborn--

Lexi: stubborn? You don't know anything--

Jacob: dammit Lexi let me finish! I'm saying maybe if you explain your problems you'll feel better

Lexi: fine, (talking fast) my mom died when I was 6 putting me and my older brother in a Foster home. Yes I had an older brother until he got shot by a gang, he saved my life that day. Then they had to move me to a new neighborhood and that was even worse! My Foster dad hit me and tried to rape me when I was 10 so I brutally beat him and that was my first strike my parole officer gave me. I went to juvie for 1 week. Then I went to another Foster home with just girls. I got into a fight like everyday, giving me another strike. I was in juvie for 3 weeks. I finally got moved to the best Foster home ever with Mary and they really treated me like family. I lost my last strike when I was helping this helpless white lady and her child who were getting mugged! I was about to go to juvie when Mary sent me all the way across the country, here, to change! And now she's dead! My favorite foster family is dead Jacob! And you and your family made me feel better by being here with you and now your leaving! And i hate you for that! (Turns away) do I feel better? Hell no! (Walks off)

Jacob: (mumbles) gah damn

(Lexi's POV)

Jacob basically ran home which is really strange. But I'm taking my time, enjoying the fresh air. When I finally got home there was a letter on the door saying follow the arrows. Pathetic! I followed the arrows all the way to the grand dining room, which was kept empty. But when I walked in everyone jumped and yelled "we love you Lexi!!" I don't even know half of these people

Lexi: uhh...?

Random girl: just sit here (sits her down in a chair)

I'm really confused. But one thing I know for sure is that Jacob is behind this! And then 5 min later he comes out singing....

Officer: Mackenzie, your under arrest. Anything you say can and will be held against you. (Puts hand cuffs on her and takes her to the car)

Oh my gosh! And I tried to help Jacob and that skank! Ugh!
