Cloud

I didn't really know what to expect from him after I told him who I was. He just, passed out. Looked at me one last time before closing his eyes and going limp over my shoulder. I panicked at first, but settled down after I heard his steady breathing. We made it back into my territory, and it seemed some of my fellow pack members were waiting for me.

Blake, along with his mate Mike, and my beta James awaited my arrival. Obviously not in a good mood, James was furious. He came up to me, eyeing to two I had at hand, but mostly at the naked Victor who was now able to at least stand.

"Alpha, we found the scent of a rouge and an unknown wolf around your presence when we felt you coming back into the borders. Who are these people, and why a rouge?" James snarled, snapping at Victor. I gave Theo over to Victor, "Hold onto him for me, will you? Mike, if you don't mind I need you to settle them in."

"As you wish, Alpha." Mike bowed, helping Victor being Theo into the pack house. Now it was just my beta and warrior standing before me. When the three were out of sight, James started to yell at me. "Are you insane?! You brought some random wolf and a rouge into our pack! You could've at least told Mike to put the rouge in the cells, but no, you gave him a room!"

"That rouge's name is Victor, and he is actually of value. He's the Alpha rouge around these parts, so pissing him off wouldn't be wise James..." I explained as calmly as I could, but he refused to back down. "The alpha?! My god Cloud! What is wrong with you? Oh, and that other wolf? What about him?! You brought some injured stranger into our lands! I admire your kindness to helping that one to heal, but once he is fully healed he should go back to his pack. His Alpha must be devastated!" I growled, "He is not leaving this pack anytime soon."

"Why?" James asked, his voice slightly calming down for it's enraged self, "What reason do you have to keep a...an omega, here? We already have four omegas that can do our work without fail, we really don't need another one."

"Why do you suddenly care who I and do not bring within our walls, James?" I questioned, "Where is my obedient beta when I need him? My word is the law, and your word is nothing more than an opinion I may dismiss later on. The rouge and him are staying, and that's final."

I towered over him, his head bowing in submission as a whimper escaped his lips. I growled, my canines released, "Now get out of my site before I make your new Luna choose your punishment."

"L-Luna? You found your mate, Alpha?"

"Yes, I have. My mate is- or was supposed to become Alpha until he was exiled from his pack, and I watched it with my very own eyes. He was kept safe by that rogue, so in return he may join the pack for keeping your Luna safe. Understood, omega?" I smirked, all the colour draining from James' face as he stuttered, "Omega..?"

"For insulting your Luna and calling him out as an Omega, you are to remain an omega until either your Luna or I see otherwise. Do you understand, omega?" I asked, getting all up in his face as he lowered his head further in shame.

"I-I understand Alpha," he said, "but if I may ask, who will take my spot as beta until then?"

"Hm," I thought, "Blake! How would you like to be beta until James learns his lesson?"

"Huh??" Blake gasped, "I-I would be honoured to Alpha! When do I start?!"

"Right now." I said, "There is some paperwork in James' offi- I mean your office, that I need to be finished before the end of the week."

---

I settled Blake into the whole beta situation, and had James forcibly shoved into the Omega chambers. It's not like we treat omegas badly, we don't. We treat them like any other pack member, except it's just their specialty to follow orders without fail. Being submissive is in their blood, and I won't argue with it. They're happy to serve, I guess serving is all James will do for the next few weeks.
