Theo

I stopped by a pond, looking at my reflection with nothing but hurt. How cold she? How could they? They left me alone, in pain. He had nine children already, so I was just another thing to deal with right? Is that it?

Suddenly, my heart froze. I could breathe.

I coughed horrendously, falling off of my wheelchair and laid on the dirty, muddy floor of the earth. Great, now that I know the truth, I suppose I am going to die right here and now. My whole body went numb, and a loud ringing entered my ears as I slowly closed my eyes, letting the permanent sleep engulf me.

???

As if I would let this boy die, I'm not that cruel to Aria and Drac's son. I just needed those two on high alert, but I suppose their mortality weakened them. Tsk, tsk, what a shame. I actually expected them to fight for their son. Rip me apart, eat me, feed me to their hungry vampire citizens. No, they let me free to do what I wish to their son.

This 'spell' or 'curse' as they call it won't kill him, it was the opposite actually. The potion injected into him was just an anti-vampire serum I created. It wiped the vampire right out of him, and sadly, that side-effect was the loss of his wolf too. When Theo realized the truth, he released a certain type of chemical all throughout his body, and came into contact with the injection. I made the serum that it would only work with him and him alone. Took a few millennia, but it worked.

With the serum and the chemicals released through his body, the serum will neutralize, therefore curing him. He will pass out because his body was trying to grow muscle, strength, and power he never had in the first place. I feel sorry for the kid, he has to endure eighteen years worth of growth within a single moment. He'll grow out his fangs, his canines, everything.

I approached his body, which was still twitching. Ew. I picked up a stick, and poked him with it. He better not go into some coma, I didn't do all this work for nothing. He groaned, and a victory smile plastered across my face.

"Wh-what? The hell? Where am I?" He rubbed the side of his head, and shakily stood up. Yes, he stood up. He was actually much taller. Before, I believed he was in fives. Now I am certain he is over six feet tall. His scrawny body was remodelled, muscles all over him and a ripped eight pack. If I was into men, holy hell I'd be crazy. His eyes saw the wheelchair, which I was standing next to. "Who're you?"

"I'm the man who's helping you. Tell me, what do you remember before waking up?"

"U-Uh...no thing, actually. Who am I?" Oh, this will be interesting! Aria, forgive me for what I'm about to do. Drac, forgiv- oh what am I saying? I hate Drac. Fuck you Dracula!

"You are Theo, Theodoric Horus. I don't know if you have a middle name though, you can think about that yourself." I said, "Now look, I'm not here to hurt you. I'll tell you what you need to know, but not what you want."

"Come on then, what do I need to know?"

"You're a hybrid, half vampire half werewolf. The first of their kind, and I hope the last. No offence, but when you combine the two reigning species into one, it's not really going to end well. Know what I mean?" He nodded so I continued, "Your parents abandoned you hours after you were born, and you spent the last eighteen years of your life under the hold of an abusive Alpha you called father. Oh, and you left your mate. That's about it." I looked over to him, and it was as if his ears had steam and smoke bursting out of them. He was angry, very angry.

"I left my mate? Why would I do that? And parents let me live a life of pain? Of suffering?!" He asked himself, growling, "When I get my hands on 'em, oh, when I do I will rip the to shreds." Uh oh.

"Hey, hey, hey, no one is ripping anyone to shred alright? Control that anger. I don't know if that's the vampire inside you or your werewolf, but if your human side is still there listen to reason." I grabbed him by the shirt and down to my face, "Theo, don't let those voices in your head control you, you control them."

"Can't you see?" A sickening smile on his face, his voice as if multiple voices were merged into one. It was as if- uh oh. This isn't good... they're merging! His vampire and werewolf spirit is merging with his human side.

"We are them. No one controls anybody, and nobody ever will. Our parents hate us, so what is there to loose huh?" His eyes shined bright red, his fangs extending along with his canines. He grabbed my neck, and I stood still as his teeth grazed my neck, "I advise you don't bite me, you won't like the taste."

"Oh I know that," his voice deepened, "you reek of light magic, something the three of us do not like. I will bite you so I can kill you, there is a difference."

"You can't kill me," I chuckled, "if you did, the world as we know I would collapse. You know how it goes, there is no world if there is no balance. I think that's how it goes. Without me, darkness would eat away at everything. A darkness no one other than me can handle."

"I'll take your word on that, mage..." he spat, letting me go, "I can't take over territories if there isn't one."

"Take over territories?" I repeated, scoffing, "You are so unlike your parents. All they do is protect it, which is what I will have to do if you get too out of hand."

"Fine, I will only take over packs that deserve it or if they are generally weaker and will get taken over at some point. Happy?"

"Yes actually," I smiled, "now you wont interfere with the balance. However, I do have a request."

"Hmph," he sighed, and groaned, "what is it?"

"I will let you take over packs, and I won't care which one. You can do whatever you want to whomever you wish, but do not attack packs allied with the King & Queen of the Vampires and Werewolves. If you do, I will have no choice but to go after you and destroy you." I said, "Is it a deal?"

He didn't seem up to it, but reached out his hand and firmly shook mine. I could feel his claws dig into my skin, but I didn't care, "Who are their allies?"

"The Berserk Clan, the Crimson Reapers pack, the Royal Bloodlines. Those three are allied with the higher ups, but mostly the Reapers and the Bloodlines. Do we have a deal, Theodoric..."

"Vlad." He grinned, "Theodoric Vlad Horus. And yes, we have a deal-"

"They all call me the head honcho," I answered, "but you can call me Dues."

"That's Latin for God, is it not?" Theo asked, "Is that what you are? A God?"

"Some say I am the God," I chuckled, "Sometimes their right, and other times they are just plain wrong. So tell me Vlad, what are you going to do now?"

"First, I will find the Alpha who made me suffer. Kill him, and take over his pack."

"Oh, they're over there." I pointed west, "Black Mountains pack, it's Alpha Reagan. However, I doubt he'd recognize you."

"Oh really? How?"

"You lost your memory because your body tried to grow a few things that were never there to begin with. Your inner vampire and wolf were never there at the start, but now they are. The body you have now is the body you were meant to have but never got throughout the years. Your power, your body, your strength, all of it. The Alpha most likely still thinks of you of how you were before your transformation. Thin, scrawny, and weak."

"Well then, they're in for a surprise." He chuckled darkly, "I'll slaughter him, hang his body over a flag pole. I'll become this century's modern Vlad the Impaler, but even more gruesome than the last."

"You don't sound like the Theo I remember," I admitted to him, "you sound powerful, like a true hybrid prince."

"Then I suppose you bow down," he growled, "because the Hybrid Prince is here to stay."

As the the new Theo walked off, I smiled, "You agreed to play my game Drac, so let the games begin."
