Jared jumped off of his now filthy dirt bike as he pulled up in front of your campsite. "Look at you, you've got a shitload of dirt on your new riding pants." You laughed, watching him take his helmet and goggles off. "Look at you, sitting here all dirty and still looking gorgeous." You rolled your eyes and blushed, turning away from him. "Oh shush." You giggled, then watching his brother and a few of his male friends speed through the camp grounds. "I take it that you won?" You smiled up at him, getting a nod and a wink in response. "C'mon sweetheart." You sighed as your daughter started to cry. "I know the bikes are loud but they're not gonna hurt you." You pouted walking inside the camper van. "Calm down baby." You whispered softly, rocking the four year old in your arms. "Sorry y/n," Shannon apologised as he walked inside the camper van, opening his arms for his niece, "give her here, I'm sure she'll calm down with me." He smiled, a sigh of relief leaving you as she calmed down in her uncle's arms. "Thank you Shan." You praised him, kissing his cheek gently. You walked out of the camper van and stretched, sitting back in your chair. Jared wasn't your boyfriend or anything, he knocked you up after a one night stand and since then, you've been good friends. Of course you liked him, but he didn't want to be in a relationship, you respected that. Your thoughts soon got interrupted as Jared kissed your cheek, pulling up his seat so that it was next to yours. "Hey sweetie." You smiled, wiping a bit of dirt off of his face with your thumb. "Can you grab the wipes from the table over there babe?" You asked Shannon as he exited the van. He nodded and Jared rolled his eyes. "So I'm sweetie and he's babe?" Jared scoffed, getting up and pushing past his brother, leaving you baffled. You watched him walk into the woods, chewing your lip as you tried not to cry. "Y/n....sweetheart no..." Shannon sighed, squatting in front of you wiping the tears from your face that you hadn't even noticed. "He's just jealous, don't worry about it." You looked down, then looking up at him. "Why is he jealous?" You sniffled, genuinely confused on why he would be jealous. Shan just shook his head, tucking your hair behind your ears and smiling. "How about we go for a swim yeah? All of us, we can just cool down and calm down." He suggested, making you smiled and stand up, walking inside the camper van and picking up your daughter, changing her into her swimsuit and putting her life jacket on. "Swimming?" Avery asked, a bright smile forming on her lips. You smiled and nodded. "Mommy, where's daddy? She asked, just as Jared stomped inside. "Why don't you love me?!" He yelled, making you instinctively grab your daughter and cower into the corner of the van. Jared noticed this and teared up, running out of the camper. "Why is he yelling?" Avery whispered, trying to wipe your tears away. "Don't cry mommy." She said, making you smile and hold her tightly. "I'm glad I have you." You said, kissing her small cheeks and exiting the vehicle. You looked over at the forest, seeing Jared sitting against a tree with his head in his hands. You handed Avery to her uncle and ran over, pulling him against your chest as he sobbed. "I do love you." You whispered in his ear, making him calm down and look up at you. "Why do you like my brother more than me?" He asked, making you shake your head. "I like him like he's my brother in law." You muttered, hating that Jared would ever think that you loved anyone else. "Jared...why don't you want to be with me?" You asked, looking down to play with your hands. "Is it the way I look...or my mannerisms...or my personali-" Jared stops you by covering your mouth. "I love you too much. I love you too much to ruin you, I love you too much to put you through what everyone else I've been with has been through. I love you too much to lose you." You sighed angrily at his words and stood up. "I'm so sick of this, don't ever talk to me again, I'm taking my daughter home!" You yelled, "It's almost been five years you stupid fuck! I can't wait around for you anymore. I hate you." You whimpered, running back to the camper van and collecting yours and your daughter's things. "Y/n please, be reasonable, you can't just take her." You heard Jared say from the outside the van. "Okay smartass, then why don't you take her?" You said, rolling your eyes and sitting on a bed as you tried to calm yourself down. Jared opened the door and walked in, getting down on his knees in front of you. "Please don't leave...we've been having such a good time and have you seen how happy Avery is? She hasn't been happy since her birthday and that was months ago." He said, standing up and pulling you into a hug. "I promise I'm going to marry you one day." He whispered in your ear, causing you to melt into his embrace. He swayed you side to side and slowly pulled away, his hands tracing down your arms until they reached your hands. "I promise." He whispered even quieter, making you smile and move forward to quickly wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him passionately.
"I am so I love with you, Jared Joseph Leto."
