I walk Shadowfax back to the stables with Loki beside me.
"You are quite the archer" Loki says with a smile.
"I would be disowned by the elves if I wasn't" I say with a laugh. After cleaning up our horses we walk back to the palace.
"It is quite amazing to see such a strong female warrior. There aren't many here in Asgard. Most just want to look pretty enough to catch Thor's attention" he says the last part with a slight hint of anger.
"I am sure some of them want to catch your eye Loki" I say with a smirk. I grab his arm and put my hand on my forehead. "Loki your are so handsome. Oh my goodness" I say and over exaggerate my every movement. He then grabs my hand and twirls me into his chest. Our faces are centimeters away.
"I have to say, no one has caught my eye like you have" Loki says quietly in his deep silky voice.
"Thank the stars" I say and Loki pulls me into a kiss. We break apart too soon though as we hear foot steps down the hall.
"Ah there you are" Thro says loudly.
"Yes I'm right here" I say as he approaches us.
"You are quite the warrior" I bow my head in thanks. "Father wanted me to tell you we have some important visitors here tonight and the dress nicely"
"Thank you Thor" I say kindly.
"May I escort you too your chambers?" He asks and I can sense Loki stiffen in anger.
"Thank you, but Loki was doing a fine job already" I say with a smile. He nods and walks past us.
I can't believe she would pick Loki over me
I roll my eyes, his thoughts are much too loud to block out sometimes. Loki puts out his arm and I take it. He seems quite happy with himself as we walk down the halls.
"You didn't really think I would abandon you for Thor" I ask.
"No...but most ladies usually would" we reach my doors and stop.
"Remember, I am not most ladies" I say and he gives me a quick kiss as I disappear into my room.
I am just about to call for my handmaiden as she scurries into the room. She bows and I smile at her. She waste no time in loosening my armor and placing it on a stand.
"My Lady I will clean your armor when you are out" Lessien says as she takes off one of my shin guards.
"Don't worry your self with that" I say
"But I would really like to my Lady. Only if it's okay with you you though" she adds quickly.
"Clean it all you want" I say with a laugh and she seems quite happy. I sit down and she undoes my hair.
"Now I am so post to dress formally tonight would you mind picking a gown?" I ask, she nods enthusiastically and runs into my closet. Children make me smile, they are so easily excited. Lessien comes back with a very elegant gown.

I slip into the golden gown and Lessien carefully buttons up the back. She then brushed my hair out into its natural natural waves. She then very slowly takes my tiara circlet and places it onto my head. I grab a couple of my silver rings and turn them into a rustic gold as I place them on my fingers. She then brushes faint amounts of rose blush onto my cheeks and paints my lips a golden brown colour to match the dress. She backs away from her masterpiece and smiles.
"It looks wonderful" I say with a bright smile. She runs back into my closet and grabs my leather flats. I really should go get some appropriate shoes, though my clothing seems to fit in fairly well. "Tomorrow after lunch I shall go and find some proper shoes and a dress or two. I would like to to come with me as I don't know Asgard well enough right now" the small girls beams and nods her head. "Thank you again" I say and she bows. I open my door to see Loki waiting on the other side of the hall. He walks over quickly an offer his arm. I smirk as I take his arm.
"Have you been waiting for me?" I ask him.
"I couldn't let Thor get here first" he says matter-of-factly.
"You could have knocked on the door"
"Yes, but I didn't want to disturb you while you where getting ready" I laugh as we go down the stairs.
"Should I be nervous for tonight?" I ask as I play with the ring in my middle finger.
"No, you are probably going to be the one intimidating tonight. Don't be scared to gently put someone back in their spot. Some of the people here have...questionable motives" I nod and stand tall as we approach the doors. One of the guards bows his head as he opens the massive door. The grab onto Loki's arm a little tighter as we enter. All eyes turn to us as we enter the hall. My dress glitters as we descend the few stairs. Loki escorts me to the seat to the right of Odin and he sits beside me. I hadn't noticed the whole room was say sing except for Odin. I simply motioned for them to sit and regular conversation continued.
"You look very lovely dear" Frigga says and I thank her.
"So you are the famous Elf we've hear so much about" says a man across the table.
"It would seem that way" I say with a smile "I am Tinnil Celeborn" I say and he smiles.
"I am Alesorn Ruler of the Alfheim and the light Elves" he says and I smile.
"Nice to meet you" I say seeing the slightly pointed ears and the very pale skin. They were descendants from an ancient Elf and an Asgardian, a mix with not too much resemblance to their ancient heritage other than ears.
We have a really nice conversation throughout dinner. Some of the others seem angry that he will not stop speaking with me. He is quite interested in his heritage and asks many questions.
"So how much magic do you posses?" He asks with a dark tone. I almost choke on my water, but cover it up. Loki looks over to me with concern, but I remember his earlier words.
"That is an interesting question" I say testing the waters.
"Why yes, I would like to know of your powers" he adds raising an eyebrow. The room seems to have gone silent.
"Well Alsorn, I do believe that this seems to be a bit of a conflict of interest. I do not wish to exert power on anyone here. I am here to explore peacefully, so I would like it if you take note of that" I say and finish with a drink form my wine glass. He is speechless and small murmurs are heard throughout the hall.

Loki tells me telepathically and I smile.

Sorry it's been a while!!! I am soooo busy and haven't had any time to write. At the end of next month I'll have more time.
