I went to bed that night having an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. I felt warm and mushy. Ugh, I hate it.
Stupid Angel.
I won't fall for his tricks. But...I've never hugged anyone. It felt nice. While it lasted at least. I hate having mixed emotions.
"Are father, who art in Heaven," I could hear Angela recite in the other room. She sure is a Jesus freak. Not to mention how nice she is. It's quite irritating.
"Good morning!" Angel burst into the room and opened the curtains to have the dreadfully bright light blind me.
"Agh, I hate the light. Close the blinds genius!" I bark. He stares at me for a second and I say, "What?"
He coughs and I realize my bare chest is exposed. I yank the bed sheets up and blush tomato red. I growl and say, "Knock first!"
"Oh don't be such a shy person. It's not the first time," he winks. "Shut up! I hate it when you're teasing me!" I yell.
He laughs and tosses me some clothes. I do my routine and make my way to the kitchen to find food waiting for me. Angela decides to join today.
"Hello Angela," Angel smiles. "Morning," she replies just as cheerfully. "You both are so happy. I hate it," I mutter in disgust.
"You know, I usually joke but I seriously think you should go see a doctor and see if you have woman genes. You are such a grouch," Angel jokes.
Angela bursts into laughter and I just give Angel my "I'm going to stab you with a pitchfork" look. He smirks and asks, "Shall I make you food as well Angela?"
She nods her head and Angel cooks something for her. When he sets it out for her she begins to pray. I roll my eyes while Angel mouths something. I think it's "She a Jesus freak?" I nod and I think I read his lips correctly.
After finishing my breakfast I decide to head back to my room. I sit on my bed and try to think of something to do. Wow, I can't think of anything.
I get up and go to Angela's room when I hear her speaking. "Yes, I know Angel's a demon. I'm willing to set aside the differences for this. Isn't that what angels do?"
Wait...is she an angel? I open the door and she immediately hangs up. "Interesting phone call Angela. Tell me, what do you by 'Isn't that what angels do?'"
She sighs and says, "It's only a matter of time before you found out. So why not now?" Wings form from behind her and blinding light shines.
"You're a- "Angel?" she finishes. "Angel REALLY isn't going to like you," I warn. "He'll have to for this. He couldn't possibly turn down the chance to have a little fun," she smiles.
I quirk up a brow. "I don't follow," Angel says from the door. "Well then, let me allow myself to fill you in. The wizards are asking for help on something. I could use a formidable ally," Angela says.
"That's it?" I say. "I don't know much. We have to be there to understand the full thing," she explains. "By far this sounds dreadfully boring but I'll check it out first," Angel sighs.
"Then let's be off. We'll have to pass through a portal to get to the wizard realm. It's so heavy and dingy in the human world," Angela grunts.
"Don't have to tell me twice," Angel buts in. I cough and say, "Ahem." "Oh, but you make the human world much more bearable Mister," Angel corrects himself.
"Let's go!"
~In the Wizard Realm~
"It's so much lighter here," Angela chirps. Angel smiles and we proceed to the place. We stop at a massive building labeled "Tais."
