Jonathan's P.O.V —

I texted Katrina if she still wanted to hang out once I get home. She hasn't texted back so I told my mom to take me to Dairy Queen to get some ice cream. I remember the text Amanda sent me a while ago and decided to open it and reply.

Amanda: Hey blue eyes, what's up?

I chuckled and covered it up with a cough so my mom won't notice anything

Me: just got some ice cream. wby

Amanda: No invite? Haha I'm gonna do some hw so kill me man :\

Me: ew have a bonfire and burn all your hw.

Amanda: I wish, well I gotta go see you tomorrow in acting:)

I left her on seen and I didn't know we still had to go to class tomorrow but I'm okay with it. At least I'm doing something here in Cali unlike back home, I would always hang out with Kev which was really fun until the day he decided to leave us. I finally got a text from Katrina and she wants me to come over to her house so I can meet her parents to make sure they trust me. I told my mom to drop me off at her house and let her know when I'll be home.

After arriving at Katrina's house, we were in the basement sitting on the couch eating pizza. We were watching a movie and it was just me and her sitting on the couch, enjoying the movie. It was 8pm by now and I wasn't sure if I wanted to go home. "Jon," She snapped her fingers at me after staring at the tv when the credits popped up on the screen. I blinked then looked at her with a confused face. "How were your classes?" She asked.

I told her everything about me being nervous and excited. Also meeting some new people. I even told her about the teacher who dresses really weird, yet he seems unique. I talked about it for at least 15 minutes, then felt a buzz coming from my phone. Hoping that it was my mom telling me to come home but it's Corey. I look at my phone and read the text that we should all hang out tomorrow after class. I wasn't sure if I wanted to since I wanted to spend time with Katrina. The screen went black and set my phone next to me, "Who was it?" She asked taking another slice of pizza from the box. "My new friends want me to hang out with them tomorrow after acting" I felt like I was asking her permission since sometimes we hang out after school. Felt like an everyday tradition.

We stared at each other for a bit until she spoke up. "You know you can go right?" She smiled at me, "I know we always hang out but you should get to know your new friends" I nodded in agreement and texted Corey that I'm down to hang out with them. Me and Katrina talked for another hour until she felt tired, I decided to go home and probably do some homework or go straight to bed and think about stuff.
