Jonathan's P.O.V —

I was in the car going to who knows where this place is at but it's only been 8 minutes and it feels like an hour. I look out the window trying to distract myself. I still feel kinda nervous and a little excited to see how it all goes.

My mom parked some place that looks decent. "This is the building make sure you tell them who you are and everything," My mom was talking while I stared at the nice building, I'm guessing it's a theater. "You're going by yourself while I go explore the town until your classes are done. Make sure to call me." I looked at her and she was smiling so I just nodded so I can leave and to get it over with. We own went our ways and I tried to stay calm walking towards the doors and my hand froze once I opened it a little. Do I wanna do this? Oh my god. I mean I can go back home and do something else. Ehh... Just open the door and I'll get through this.

I exhaled then walked in and saw a big poster that had 'Acting Class' in big blue marker and arrows pointing to a door that was open, guessing it was in the theater so I walked in confidently and saw a few other people sitting down waiting for a teacher. I took a seat near these people and we just waited while I observed this nice place. All I kept thinking is that my future and dreams start here. I shouldn't be feeling really nervous but I'm excited to work with some people here.

Later on, we were out into groups of 3 other people and had to do an exercise that had to do with communication and say whatever pops out of our mind. "Alright guys meet your new group for now on" The guy said, I forgot his name but I'll learn it soon, "Please say your name, age, and something interesting about you to your group" There's was a lot of chatter everywhere as soon as he told us what to do. My group just stood there and I decided to speak up first. I cleared my throat and looked at everyone, "Hey guys I'm Jonathan Brandis, fifteen years old soon to be sixteen and I'm new here" Everyone nodded and the next person who's name was Meredith who was sixteen. Next was another girl named Amanda, she's really pretty and my age as well so maybe there could be a chance or not, but I like Katrina. Last but not least was Corey, he's fifteen and moved here to Cali just like me. "Same," I blurted out because I thought it was interesting "To make my dreams happen you know" I was nodding for no reason and I noticed he put us with people around our age.

After our classes ended we all exchanged numbers to just hang out or something. Me and Corey gave our numbers to Amanda and Meredith "Thanks Jon and Corey!" They both smiled at us and left so we stood there talking more. "Have you ever been on any shows or commercials?" I asked after the girls left. "I've been on some movies so yeah" Corey said looking at me, "Have you?" I stood thinking about 2 movies I've only been on. "Yeah but only two, but I'm working my way up so I can be on more you know." He nodded agreeing with me.

I was outside sitting on the stairs waiting for my mom to arrive. It's been 15 minutes and I was on my phone deciding if I wanted to text Katrina or my new friends. As soon as I was going to make a group chat I see Amanda's name pop up, it was a text from her. I was about to click on it but I hear someone yelling out my name and it was mom. Finally I get to go home and relax.
