Tell||Part One

Neji looked left and right. The place he was in was eerie and tranquil. His heart started to race. Why is he there in the first place? He was floating midair. Well, he can't really tell for everything was...white and spacious. In fact, he was just lying down.

“Hello?”he croaked, wincing at his weak voice.

A single drop of water fell from above and the white nothingness wherein he was lying started to ripple. After a few more peaceful reactions, the ripples died.

“Oh,”a voice as sweet as melody spoke. It was so sweet even the whiteness started to crumble to black, “You're awake.”

The white, shiny walls burst into shatters and were very annoying when you listen to it.

Neji covered his ears,“Stop it!”

The sweet voice turned into a laughter. A laughter of a vicious villain.

“Stop what?” it bellowed and it sounds like all the voices of the people Neji knew,“You can't tell me what to do!

As the voice boomed, Neji heard Naruto, Hinata, his cousin Hanabi, Guy-sensei, Lee, Tenten, his father, his uncle, his instructor in the Academy, Madara, Kakashi-sensei, Sakura, and many others that he couldn't recognize.

The voice spoke in the tone of his friends and foes and Neji hated it. It felt like they were all taunting him. Taunting him just because he died due to a stupid stick.

He then heard the calling of the sea. His nostrils were filled with the scent he met always during the summer and when he turned, the darkness were washed away by the sea.

Genjutsu? He thought.

He shut his eyes and clamped his hands to his ears. He pulled his knees near his chest. He didn't like the situation he was in. It was mysterious and terrifying. He didn't really felt anything like this when he was living.

Neji's fingers started to tremble. When he was living? So is he...dead?

Neji enveloped himself in his on arms as he rose,“I'm dead?”

A soft wind ruffled his long, dark hair.

“Yes, yes you are.” said the voice,“You can't believe it? Hmm, Hyūga-kun?”

Neji was starting to get infuriated for it felt like the voice was messing with him.

“Look,”he started and folded his arms,“I'm not here for child's play.”

The voice's laugh echoed through the infinite terrain. It made trees grow and die immediately. It made water to leak out of nothing. It made bird bones go to life and Neji is now on a barren wasteland.

“Child's play?” it cackled causing lighting to flash and thunder to rumble,“You're dead and dead is dead. This ain't some fairytale you foolish humans wished to live. This is reality and reality states that the Bird in the Cage, Neji Hyūga is dead!”

Neji thumped his foot like an impatient bunny,“And so? That's it?”

The voice giggled lightly and it was very disgusting for Neji. It made him want to puke.

“If you don't like your destiny,”the voice said in Naruto's voice,“then have the courage to change it!”

Neji shook his head,“Quit messing. You're all powerful right? If you are, help me change my destiny!”

Neji's spine danced as a cold shiver ran past. It felt like the voice was smiling.

“You really are a bright boy, Hyūga,”the voice said as three white orbs started to appear that were levitated midair,“Choose one and choose it wisely for each one determines your next destination for your next or previous lifetime. ”
