The Baby Project (told in a kids perspective)

Ch.1

Flashback
"Nooooooo," a little voiced echoed. "If you didn't want a punishment then you should have followed direction," a loud voice echoed. "But I didn't want to do it," the little voice said with fright. "Well you should have, you have just been a little pest always getting in my way," the loud voiced said. Before that person could do anything to the kid, police came and captured him. "We got him. Lock him away," the police officer said. Then he looked at the little girl. "It's okay, no one is going to hurt you. All of us will take you to a safe place," the officer said to the kid, offering his hand. The little girl held his hand and went to a safe place.
End of flashback

Present day.

Michi POV
"Riinngg." I heard my alarm and pressed snooze. It was only 2 minutes when someone jumped on my bed. Then I heard 2 giggles. I took the sheet off my face to see Dylan and Kevin. "Get up," Dylan said. "No," I said. I put the cover back on my face only to be pulled out of the bed. "Hey, what was that for," I asked. "We told you nicely, next came the impolite way," Kevin said smiling. I gave them a glare and they ran out. I got up from he floor and got ready. I brushed my teeth and did everything else for morning. I got in my uniform which involves me in a plaid skirt and collared shirt with a tie. I leave my hair down and head out. I meet Kevin and Dylan waiting for me. "Finally, that took forever," Dylan said. I just rolled my eyes. We started heading to the door when an announcement came on. "Excuse me. All children in the adoption agencie, today is the day for the 11 grade project. Remember they will come when you leave school and will take you for their family project," the announcement said. "Or in this case, he baby project," I said. The boys just rolled their eyes and we headed out, only for me to remember something. "We forgot Stevin and Sarah," I said. We all looked at each other and ran inside. We went to their room to see they were ready. "Took you long enough," Sarah said. "Sorry, you know we forget everything when the project comes around," I said. "Apology accepted," Stevin said. "Come on you two," Kevin said. Stevin and Sarah came close to us and we held their hands. We headed outside and to the elementary school. "Bye Stevin, bye Sarah," I say. They waved back at us. How cute. We then started walking to our middle school which was just around the corner. We entered the hall and separated to our classes just in time for the bell to ring. School began and ended. Kevin, Dylan and I exited school together and went to the elementary school to pick up Stevin and Sarah. They were waiting for us in the front. We signaled them to come over. When they came over Dylan looked at his watch and said, "we better hurry, the high school kids will get here soon." We looked at each other and started to run. We made it to the door in time. "Just in time," Kevin said. I saw the high school kids coming this way. We headed inside and I went to start on my homework. A few minutes went past and no one came to bother me. "Done with math now to start with history." I was about to start on my history homework when a girl from the high school came over to me. "Hi," she said. I didn't say anything back. "Are you doing homework," she asked. I still just looked at her. "I'm going to take that as a yes," the girl said. "Let me star from the beginning, I'm Kaya Rodriguez," Kaya said, offering her hand. "Michi Sanchez," I said shaking her hand. "If you want a recommendation for who to adopt then you would want a six year old," I said. Kaya looked at me strange. "We are adopting two pre teens, two children and two babies," Kaya said. This time I looked at her weirdly. "They always allow one or two children in this project," I said. "Well this year it is different," Kaya said. I just shock my head and took her outside with me. "You see those two kids playing. That is Stevin and Sarah. The two babies on the counter is Tristan and Tessa, cutest things, and the boy with he babies is Dylan," I said. "And what about a girl," Kaya asked. "I don't know any girls my age," I said honestly. "What about you," Kaya asked. "I don't want to go. I'd rather stay here," I said. "Well then, let's go over to them and ask them if you should stay," Kaya said dragging me to them. "Hi, I'm Kaya," she told them. "And I would like to adopt you guys," Kaya said. Their eyes filled with excitement. "But there is one problem. You guys have to convince Michi to join us to be a happy family," she said. "Come on Michi," Dylan said. "Ya, it wouldn't be a family without you," Sarah said with cuteness. I had to give in. They kept pleading. "If I say yes then will you guys stop," I said. They all shook their heads. "Then yes," I said and they started cheering. "Come on guys, let's get our things," I said. We got our things and headed to the front desk. When we got to the front desk and saw a boy standing next to Kaya must have been our dad. They were talking to the front desk person. "So you have Dylan Martinez, Stevin and Sarah Caine, Tristan and Tessa Maine and Michi Sanchez," the lady said but saying my name in vain. "Well here are the documents about them and how to handle them," she said as she handed them 6 vanilla folders. We started to head out. I was readying my suitcase when Kevin walked by me and said, "well this is our separate ways." I got startled and fell. Kevin helped me up. "Ya," I sighed. We hugged and I headed out. I looked around for Kala. When I found her I walked to their car. "Where were you, I thought you decided to go A-wall." I laughed a little. "Okay that was pretty funny on what I said," Kala said. I was about to put my stuff away when the boy approached me. "Let me help you with that," he said. "My name is Dustin Hernandez," Dustin said. "Michi Sanchez," I said. He finished and I got in the car sitting next to Dylan. We began to drive. "So, are you ready to have a new life," Kaya asked. Everyone nodded but I just kept quiet. We finally reached the house and we went in. "Are you guys ready to go to your rooms," Dustin asked. They all nodded. "First up is the nursery," Kaya said. We went up to the nursery and it was decorated in blue and purple(seen above). It looked awesome. We then went to Stevin and Sarah's room. The walls were green and the cabinets were yellow. It looked good. Stevin and Sarah went in to unpack. Next was Dylan and my room. We opened the door and it looked spectacular. My side was in pink and Dylan's was in red. We went in and started unpacking. "This place is amazing," I said while putting my shirts in a drawer. "Ya," Dylan agreed. A little while later we were called to dinner. "Gravy with chicken and mashed potatoes," Stevin said, licking his lips. We all sat down and everyone began to dig in. I just picked at my food and ate a little. "Michi, are you okay," Kaya asked with concern. "Yeah just tired," I said. We finished dinner and Dustin offered to clean the dishes. Dylan and Kaya took Tristan and Tessa to the crib and I offered to put Stevin and Sarah to bed. Once I was done tucking them in I headed to bed. I checked the clock and saw that it was early, so I decided to read. I was reading  when Kaya entered. "Are you okay," she asked. "Ya," I said. "Well, how do you think about the project," Kaya asked. "That its stupid," I said. "What about you," I asked. "Well it will help me understand thing when I decide to have a family," Kaya said. Just then Dylan came in. "Well goodnight then," I said. "Good night," Kaya said and then left. "So what were you guys talking about," Dylan asked. "Just the project," I replied. "Dylan nodded his head. "Goodnight," he said. "Goodnight," I said and turned off the lights. I then went into a slumber of sleep to dreamland only to be brought back to nightmare island and memory lane.
