The Baby Project (told in a kids perspective)

Ch.7

Kaya POV
After the kids went to the park, Stevin,Sarah and I helped Dustin clean up. "How did cooking end up like this," I asked once we were done. "Don't know, I was making pizza. I put it in the oven and it exploded," Dustin said, pointing to the oven. "Idiot, you didn't put flour, you put something else," I said. "Then I was gong to make cake for dessert. I put it in a mixer and it didn't go so well," Dustin said looking down. He looked cute when he is embarrassed. I brought his chin up and kissed him. Sparks flew. "What was that for," Dustin asked. "Something," I said smiling. We were going to go upstairs when the phone rang. "Hello," I said. "Hi, this is the school. We have some ad new. Michi's father broke out of prison and he is coming after Michi. If I were you I would go somewhere safe," the person on the phone said. "Okay, bye," I said and hung up. Soon Dustin came near me. "Who was that," I asked. "The school. We're in danger because Michi's dad is coming to get her, he escaped from prison," I said. Dustin looked all pale once I said that. "I'll go pack the kids stuff and you call your parents so we can stay with them. I called my parents and told them everything. They said we could stay as long as we like. I hung up and went to help Dustin. I got the babies and put them in their car seat inside. Just then Dylan and Michi came in. They asked what was going on and Dustin said that we were going on a vacation. They helped Dustin put the luggage in the trunk and I put the babies and kids in their seats. I heard Dustin yell to the kids to where they were going and Dylan yelled that they needed to get something. Four minutes later Dylan and Michi came. We began to drive and headed to my parents house.
