The Baby Project (told in a kids perspective)

Ch.9

Dylan POV
Right now we are driving in the middle of nowhere. "I'm hungry," Stevin whines. "We are going to stop by a burger place," Kaya said. Soon enough we stopped at Burger King. We got out of the car and almost fell. I guess spending time in the car for 3 hours really does a number on your legs. We went in and ordered. We all went to a table and sat down. Michi went to sit with Kaya, Stevin, Sarah and the babies and I was alone with Dustin. "So why the sudden vacation," I asked. "Just because," Dustin said. I knew he was trying to avoid this subject. I didn't push him. I went to sit with the rest while Dustin waited in line. "So, anything new," Michi asked. "Nah," I replied. Soon Dustin arrived with the food. All of us devoured the food like wolf's. Kaya had the babies bottles ready and for a weird reason, warm. They babies were full and then burped. Once we were done, we threw away our trash and headed for a journey.

2 hours later

We finally reached a house. We got out of the car and saw two people coming out of the house and hugging Dustin and Kaya. They must be either Dustin or Kaya ' s parents. They looked at us and said, "You must be the kids, you guys are so adorable." When they said that my inside felt warm. I looked over at Michi and she seemed uncomfortable. She was never used to affection. "Well come on in, we got the rooms ready, the lady said. We walked in and saw pictuers of Kaya. Thus must be her house. I looked over at Michi and saw that there were some tears forming. She wiped them quickly. "Come, well show you your rooms," Kaya's dad said. We left to see our rooms.

Michi POV
We entered the house of these random people. I looked at the wall and noticed that these were Kaya ' s parents. I looked at the wall full of pictuers a d noticed how much love she would get. I wish I could get that. Next thing you know my eyes are full of water. I wipe them away quickly. Just then Kaya ' s dad takes us to see our rooms. Stevin and Sarah share a room, Dustin and Kaya along woth the babies share a room a d Dylan  and I share a room. I start to unpack when Dylan ask a question. "Why do you think the sudden vacation." "Don't know, maybe they wanted a quick vacation  from all of this, or after the kitchen incident, they needed some refresher that it did not happen," I said laughing. We finished unpacking and got called for dinner. We finished dinner and went up to bed. Dylan went to Stevin and Sarah ' s room and I fell into a slumber.

Hey, sorry I haven't updated in a while. I am getting used to writing on my tablet instead of my iPad. Another reason is because is if we have free time in class, I don't have my device to write, also I had to study for exam time. I am so happy since yesterday was the begging of summer. I'll try to update on schedule. Ch 10 is on the way.
