i get dressed and walk upstairs grabbing my car keys, a snack, and bag before locking up the house. "need a ride ?" i turn around and see luke standing awkwardly by his car

"no, mum and dad are gone so i get the car.." the small smile on his face fades as he shoves his hands in his pockets "oh."

"yeah.... i have to get to work, im already late but uh how about we meet at our spot ." i saw he shuffle as i unlock the jeep, "around 8:30 okay?"

i question him before settle into the drivers seat "yeah that's great cal, see you then ." like grins at me before getting in his car and pulling off

i got in my car plugging my phone into the aux cord playing my  playlist and driving off. i quietly hummed along to a song before pulling into the library parking lot.
