Chapter 2: Work

Maaga akong nagising kinabukasan para maghanda sa trabaho. After these years ay babalik rin pala ako dito.

I'm wearing a beige above-the-knee dress. After doing my light make up, I'm ready to go.

Pagka-park ko ng aking sasakyan ay dumiretso na ako sa loob. Mainit ang naging pagtanggap ng aking mga kaibigan at katrabaho na naiwan ko rin noon. Kira was there too. She's my closest friend here.

After magkamustahan ay nagulantang ako sa kanyang sinabi. "Bella, why are you here? Hindi ka na pwede dito. Mr. Monteverde personally came here kanina to pull you out. Tatawag daw siya sayo."

"Wha-" *kriing*

Kinuha ko ang aking phone sa bag and anwered it.

"Good morning Miss Saavedra, this is Monteverde GoC, Mr. Monteverde wants to pass a message, ang sabi po nila ay hindi daw po kayo jan maaaring magtrabaho."

I'm a bit startled. Kakikita lang namin kagabi ah.

"Please pass the phone to him. Bakit hindi siya ang tumawag?"

"I'm sorry ma'am busy po kasi siya. Pinapasabi rin po na pumunta po kayo dito sa office."

*tooot*

Wow. Just wow. Umuwi ba ako ng Pilipinas para utusan at pagbabaan ng telepono?

"Baks gotta go. I've missed you. Talk to you sometime." Ani kay Kira.

"Sure! Ingat."

Ang hassle. Kailangan ko pang magdrive ng 30 minutes para lang makapunta.

Pagkapasok ko sa Monteverde GoC everyone was eyeing me and whispering. Hinayaan ko na lang hanggang makarating ako sa floor niya.

I barged into his office. After seeing me, he smirked. Uh-oh I don't like this feeling.

Am I still into him? He's too good to be true.

"Jackson, I thought we're cool. Ayos naman na tayo diba? Bakit bawal ako magtrabaho? Don't tell me yo--"

He stopped me by sealing my lips with his. His kiss was way too aggressive.  Di ko napigilang hawakan ang kanyang batok at haplusin ang kaniyang buhok.

He groaned. He pushed me and lifted me onto his desk. I felt him smirk. I was shocked when he bit my lower lip and found his entrance into my mouth. He savoured every corner of it.

"Jaack~"

I felt butterflies in my stomach as he goes down my neck. Ni hindi ko makilala ang sarili kong boses.

I moaned when he slipped his hands beneath my dress.

"Ughh"

*tok tok*

I immediately stood and fixed my dress. Tumalikod naman si Jackson at hinaplos ang kaniyang buhok.

"Whoah! Bella you're really back!" Napalingon ako sa isang baritonong boses. Pagkaharap ko ay siya namang pagyakap nito sa akin.

"Luke! Kumusta na?" sabay yakap.

*cough* *cough*

We faced Jackson and he's wearing an annoyed face.

Luke is a cousin of Jack. We've been really closed back then.

"What's up bro! So you've been back together huh?" Luke smiled.

"Hands off dude. That's my girl."

"Oops sorry I forgot your possessiveness." Luke's laugh filled the room.

And just like that, kami na pala ulit. Akala ko hindi niya ako mapapatawad.

"Wait what? Pinapatawad mo na ako kaagad? Whoah there Jackson."

"You should've seen how broken he was when yo--" Luke was interrupted by Jackson.

"Hey bakit ka ba nandito? I thought you were busy."

"Bawal ba mangumusta? Makaalis na nga. Looks like I interrupted you or something. Bella, by the looks of it he's so not over you." he said that pointing at Jackson's huge bulge on his pants.

"Gotta go man!" He left the room running while laughing.

"What the f*ck dude!"

Na-realize ko na seriously I need to properly apologize.

"Look Jackson again I'm so sorry."

"Nangyari na ang nangyari. Let's move on from the past. Look babe, kailangan mong bumawi."

"Wait, am I really sold to you? I don't even understand how that works."

"Don't worry, we'll make this relationship work again."
