Jin tries not to act like an overprotective parent when it comes to his friends. He knows it's lame and annoying but he loves them, trusts them and would do anything for them. So when Jin met the angels, something snapped in him. His instincts are telling him to grab his friends and run away as fast as they can, protecting them from those foul deceitful creatures that calls themselves servant of the lord.
Jin hated angels and it wasn't because that they were natural enemies. It was something much more worse. Jin could list the endless amount of grieve whenever he encounters them but there were two events that would surely pull anyones heart strings, even those foul creatures.

When Jin turned 14 000 years old, his father gave him his first assignment to prepare him for the throne. One was to lead an entire army to kill the angels and the other was to sent their best assassins to kill at least one of the archangels so the army could advance without any of those pesky flies to interfere with their plan. Archangels are known to be strong, receiving gods blessings and given a holy weapon that could destroy an entire civilisation with a single strike. All living creatures fear them, even the higher rank demons. Jin knew his father would never stake any of his mens lives if it was not crucial, knowing well a few of those men were their families closest friends.
Jin had to accept the possibly that he had to watch his men die, especially his best friends who were assigned as the assassins, Ken and Sandeul. Jin acknowledge that his friends were strong, very strong that their power could overthrow an archangel and that would be safe and return alive from the mission. However, he still had that dull aching pain at the back of his brain thats telling him otherwise.

The mission was a success, thats how it was supposed to be. When Ken stabbed the archangel with his own weapon, letting him taste his own medicine, another archangel suddenly swooped down and snapped Ken's arm before twisting it in a gruesome way.
Before Sandeul could even helped his partner, the injured archangel managed to pull out his weapon out of his torso and quickly stabbed it into the demons chest. Sandeul collapsed and tried to save himself by grabbing the spear so it wouldn't dig deeper and reached his heart. The archangel pushed the head of the spear with his foot, making sure the other wouldn't have any energy to deflect his attack.
Both demons cried their lungs out at the pain thats searing through their young bodies, but still they held their pride high and refused to back out from the fight, struggling to save themselves. They knew that they weren't going to survive. In a matter of seconds they would meet death and their beloved families and friends would be informed of their tragic demise. They quietly sobbed while they think of their funeral. Sandeul grabbed his gaping chest wound, hoping to stop the blood while Ken tried his best to attack two archangel on his own with his left arm.
His courage was to be applaud but his effort was useless. Ultimately, Ken was stabbed in the middle of his chest with two spears drilling into him.

When the news of his best friends death was announced at the court room, Jin had to be mentally prepared. He was a royalty and he should be strong for the sake of his people. They need reassurance and he was their young hope. Jin tried his best not to wail and show any signs of weakness. As soon as the curtains fell and he was excuse to leave, the first tear fell and his eyes stung as he ran to his bedroom. That night, the king and queen told the servants to stay clear of Jin's room, giving him freedom to cry his heart out without any disturbance. Jin needed space while he think of revenge for his fallen friends who were like his brothers.
