You sit at the grand piano, in the middle of the stage, behind the massive red curtain. You could hear the murmur of people sitting just on the other side, the only thing separating you and them was a piece of fabric.
The school auditorium was full. Every row was full. Some even standing behind the back seats and sitting on the stairs.
You take a deep breath and the lights dim. The crowd soon hushing. The auditorium was dark and the curtains pulled back revealing you sitting in your beautiful white dress, hands on your lap, preparing to play the piece.

You keep your heart rate steady and then gently place your hands above the keys. You take one last breath before closing your eyes and playing the wonderful instrument.
You then pause as the crowd's applause rang through the auditorium. As they soon became quiet again you begin to play another piece.
As you finish the last piece, you stand and face the crowd. You curtsy and the crowd erupt into cheers again. You smile at the crowd and thank them before walking off the stage with a wave.
Unknown to you, a boy in the very back of the auditorium wasn't clapping and cheering but staring at you in awe. Throughout the entire performance he didn't move. He watched as you gracefully caressed each key and played every single note at the right time, passing the feeling of the song through the sound, and reaching every one who heard.
As everyone left he stayed behind. When the building was empty he crept back up to the stage and walked over the the grand piano. He sat down and began to stare at the keys.
He closed his eyes and began to play. Though he didn't know he had an audience.
As he finished, he was startled by the sound of clapping.
He turned around to see a female wearing a coat over a white dress. She looked about the same age as him, though was taller due to the heels she was wearing.
You stared at the boy as he quickly got up thinking you were going to kick him out for being where he wasn't meant to be.
"That was beautiful," you say walking towards the boy.
