"Andrew has been messing with my Broken one? I don't like the sound of that."

"Wait, so you know him?"

"Well of course, but I won't tell you how." He puts his hand on my chin, making me lock glares with him. "If I did, I would have to kill you , but that is kind of my goal." I gulp and shiver in fears as he continues to threaten my life.

"Well can I least know why he knows so much about me?" He removes his hand and chuckles as he walks around me.

"Andrew's a special lad. We got way back to when we attended school together. It was about the time I actually started turning people. Andrew wasn't a vampire but definitely was interested in the supernatural life. I never turned him to not worry about him stealing my thunder, so he found another way of getting into it."

"And what was that?"

"Andrew wanted to be supernatural anyway he could, so he went back into his family history til he found something since this place swarms with the supernatural. Turns out, lil Andrew was a wizard."

This is unreal?! No wonder he knows so much about me. He probably has a spell watching my every move.

"Have I solved your problems, broken one?"

"Yea, I'm not so confused as before...thanks" I look up to Caleb, who was watching me hungrily. This guy may be good looking, but he'll always find a way to give me the creeps

"My pleasure, anything for--"

"Hey sweetie, I brought you some...Sage, who the hell is this?" My mom stands in shock as she sees me standing with Caleb. Not knowing what to do, I keep quiet, freaking out inside my head.

"Why hello there..." Like wind blowing by, he speeds to my mom and looks at her like a mad man. She looks at him scared at first, but loses all the emotion after a while. "Now, you are gonna forget you ever saw and go watch that baby of yours." As if she was never in here or saw anything, she walks down the hall to Toby's room.

"How did you?!What did you?!" Caleb smirks at my confusion and takes a seat on my bed. He lays back and smiles.

"You're rather cute when confused, Sage. It's called compelling and it's the perks of being a vampire. Making people forget or do absolutely whenever you want! Who wouldn't want that?"

"That is pretty cool. Um what else can you do?" Eager to know more, I sit on the bed next to him but not to close.

"O, a lot of things! But you'll have to be one to find out." He lifts up his head and looks to me with joy. "Being the vampire is a blessing! I feel more alive than I was when I was human and everything feels so great."

He goes from happy to serious while grabbing my hand, gripping it softly.

"I know Zachary and his family put in your head that vampire life is the worst but listen to someone who lives it! I'm not gonna force it on you anymore but you need to know, being a vampire will save you, love." He gets up as if he was prepared to leave and heads for the window. "Make a decision and I promise you'll be the happiest you've ever been!"

He smiles at me and vanishes with me cleared from my confusion from before.

Do I really want to be a vampire?! I mean, Caleb made it seem so cool but I can't trust him 100% just yet.

I feel as if someone was by my door and I turn to see my mom with a bowl of fruits from earlier.

"Hey Sage, I brought you something to snack on. I meant to bring it earlier but I guess it just crossed my mind."
