The meeting

I was all alone. I felt so cold, so tired, but I didn't wanna close my eyes, not even for a second because I knew the consequences. I wouldn't open them again. My destiny, my life, would end forever yet I couldn't help but to close my eyes. I was so sleepy and I needed a nap. I needed to sleep just for a little bit. My eyes faintly closed and I went to sleep and, as I predicted...

I didn't wake up.

I opened my eyes when I heard a voice. It was a soft voice and it sounded delightful in my ears. I saw a shadow appear in front of me, levitating near me. Each time it came closer, I crawled farther away. I couldn't, no, I wouldn't die! Not yet anyway!

He came closer and stopped, he must've realized that it wasn't worth chasing me. I got to my feet and ran but I didn't know exactly where I was running to. Everything around me was black. After realizing that, my pace slowed down and I fell to my knees. I felt as a tear dripped from my eye. Where the hell was I?!

"You're in your mind, dear Geno." The voice said. I jumped, startled by how close he was to me. I turned to see a skeleton, who looked like me, smile. He wore a black cloak with a red scythe in his hands.

"Who- who are you?" I asked. He chuckled and sat next to me.

"Why, I'm the man you've been expecting for years, Geno." He said with a mischievous smile that sent shivers up my spine. I blushed a bright blue looked away.

"Who?" I asked once more. He chuckled again and sighed.

"Why, I'm Death, Geno." My head quickly snapped to him as he smiled brightly. I wasn't expecting Death. Never have, never will. He is kinda cute though. No! Geno, stop it! He could kill you with the touch of his finger!

"Why are you messing with me? It can't be my time, yet." I whined and complained. He smirked and winked at me, making me blush like crazy.

"Actually, if you want me to be honest, your time has been up a long time ago. I just loved to watch you. You're kinda cute to watch." He said with a slight blush. I blushed a darker blue as he blushed a light purple.

"Ah, well, why did you get me now?" He grabbed my hands which I feared knowing that he could kill me with a touch. He stared deeply in my eyes and smiled.

"Because I want you, Geno."

"As what? Another ornament on the shelf of souls?" He laughed and shook his head.

"No. I want you to be mine. Geno, I love you!"
