Thank you for the feedback.

Also, the next chapter is going to be amazing! It's mainly composed of Louis and Harry!

I just wanted to remind my readers about something important. I will be leaving for London, England soon. While I am gone, the updates will be very slow or nothing at all. Also, this book only has 10 chapters left, so keep reading. After this book, I will be starting the third book of the series. Five books have been planned so far!

Thank you!

Damon and the rookie hunters have finally reached the Dawnbreak estate. They continued to walk towards the gate of the estate. "Stop! You are trespassing on the property of Liam Payne!" The gatekeeper approached the group and finished his statement. "State your business." They nodded and Damon stepped forward.

"I am Damon, leader of the Night Hunt." The gatekeeper nodded and motioned for a guardsman to get the officers. The rookies were nervous in the presence of vampires, it was probably their first encounter with a vampire. "What happened to the Night Hunt?" asked the gatekeeper. The vampires still didn't know why Damon was here.

Before Damon could respond, Liam and Niall exited the estate. The blond lad motioned for the guardsmen to lower their guard. "Damon, it's great to see you. I'm grateful for your assistance, even if I didn't ask for it." Liam embraced his friend, but no reaction from him was seen. Damon was completely confused by Liam's statement.

"You didn't ask for help. Why did you send a letter to the command center?" Liam pulled out of the embrace and looked at him puzzled. He had no idea what Damon was speaking about. Niall stepped forward and took control of the situation. "Do you still have the letter?" Damon nodded and handed the letter to the blond lad.

Niall scanned over the letter over and over. He noticed something odd about the letter and address it. He handed the letter to Liam and spoke, "This letter didn't come from this estate. I believe it was sent by Ariel to distract you." Damon's reaction turned to disappointment. Liam and Niall could only assume the Night Hunt was no more.

They invited Damon and his hunters into the estate. The hunters were reunited with the veteran hunters and somewhat brought happiness to their heavy hearts. "You and your hunters are welcome to stay with us." Damon nodded and accepted the offer, he knew it would keep his hunters alive.

"We're having a war room meeting now, I would gladly have you join us." Again, Damon accepted the offer and walked into the war room with them. The other officers were not pleased to have a human in the room. "My lord, I can't discuss anything with a human in the room. It's against our traditions, I can't believe you would allow this."

Liam was about to speak, but Damon spoke first. "I have laid in a room filled with the bodies of my deceased men. I have seen more death than any human should have to suffer. I sent my veteran hunters to you, placing my own command center at risk. I still offer my assistance to you and I'm denied the right to help."

Damon stopped to catch his breath and continued. "If our positions were switched and I need your help, would you come?" He paused and allowed the officers to take in his words. "I doubt it. The death of Ariel and the Blackstar estate is the only thing that matters." The officers still aren't pleased by his statement.

"We understand your position, but traditions cannot be broken." The officers nodded in agreement and Niall wasn't too pleased. The blond lad rubbed his eyes and spoke, "The officers in this room aren't even a hundred years old, excluding Liam and I. When you have the experience that Damon has, then he'll leave the room. We need to focus on the enemy! I'm tired of this vampire and human conflict. It's over!"
