I'm used to walking around in the dark. I know my way around and I have long since debunked any strange sounds or mysterious shadows that lurk within the house. I walk into my room fairly late one evening without turning on the light and almost jumped at the sight of a lumpy mass crumpled on the floor but I quickly realized that it was just a pile of laundry. I recovered and started to get into bed, knowing that it was silly to think that I was so scared over something so simple and harmless..... until I saw it blink.
