Alex
I told Kara. I did it. I have to talk to Maggie. I need to tell her. I can't believe I was so blind all the time. She's beautiful, she's though, she's smart, she's funny, she's beautiful.
I already said that. I don't care I have to tell her. Now!
Alex rides her motorbike to the alien bar as fast as possible.
Entering the bar she immediately saw her. The woman she has been thinking about ever since the first day. The woman who turned her world upside down. The only one who could make her feel vulnerable and strong at the same time.
"Danvers. Any interested in game?", Maggie asked as she saw the woman entering.
"Actually I was wondering if you're still good for that drink you promised me", Alex answered a bit proud of herself because she really told her sister who she was.
"You told Kara?"
"I did."
"I'm so proud of you. I'm buying all night. What are you having?"
But Alex didn't answer. She grabbed Maggie's forarm and turned her around. She just leaned in and kissed the woman od her dreams.
For both of the women the emotions they felt in this moment -the butterflies and the fireworks- were like they never kissed anyone before.
But Maggie backed out.
She couldn't get hurt again because she was the one for the exploring. Especially not with Alex. Because hell. This woman turned everything upside down. Maggie had feelings for Alex she never had for any of her previous girlfriends. She was so overwhelmed by this feelings that she pushed Alex away. Away from her.
"I can't do this. Not with you", was the only thing Maggie said before turning around and leaving the woman she cared deeply for.
How could their feelings go from one minute being the happiest women alive to the next one being in a big black whole of pain and suffering.
Alex felt like she had no control over her body she just went home and started to put her walls back up.
3 Days later.
Both women were doing miserable.
Alex failed in every training session even against the weakest Agent. She didn't talk unless it was about work and she didn't eat. She let nobody coming close to her.
The only thing in her head was this woman. She couldn't even think of her name. The name she loved to say. Even if it was just her last name.
Only J'onn knew what was going on..
Flashback 2 Days ago
"Agent Danvers. May I have a woed with you", J'onn commanded.
"I'm fine J'onn. Stop worrying and let me go back to work", Alex said before he could even start to speak because she knew that concerned look on his face. He knew what she was thinking of and he knew how she felt but she was not gonna let anyone near her.
She walked out of the room and closed the door forcefully so that everybody in the DEO knew not to mess with her.
Alex Danvers was pretty damn angry.
Kara often tried and talked to her but Alex got more rude with everyday passing by. So she stopped.
She had an idea what the reason for Alex mood was but she couldn't get anything out of J'onn who, she was sure, knew more than he wanted to say.
"Don't you ever get tored of hearing the same answer ovwr and over again, Supergirl', J'onn said annoyed because he knew that Kara knew that he knows something.
"Just tell me if it has something to do with Maggie, please?", Kara tried one last time with her famous puppy-eyes-pout-face.
J'onn just nodded slowly.
Kara sighed and so did J'onn. They both hated to see Alex hurt and they knew that she'd be dangerous for all of the people near her and most important for herself.
