Just as Alex ends the call another contraction hits her hard.
"Kara if you don't drive a little faster I will give birth in your f*ucking backseat."
"I'm driving as fast as I can", she screams back even more stressed than Alex.
After 5 minutes the finally arrive at the hospital and Maggie and Lena are already waiting outside.
"Babe, are you okay?", Maggie asks very concerned. "Our baby is almost as impatient as you", Alex laughs out as she sees her wife. "Well then let's go", Kara says as she comes back with a wheelchair. "Right.. uhm... let's go", Maggie stutters nervously.
"I'm the one giving birth, don't be so nervous, Sawyer" "Danvers-Sawyer", Maggie corrects her wife who is smiling like an idiot by now.
45 minutes later
"Ladies, the baby is comming", the nurse announces.
"Alex. Our baby is coming", Maggie says happy.
"Okay you have to push now",
"There he is. He is beautiful. You two did a good job, L...."
"What is wrong? Is everything okay with him?", Maggie asks now very concerned for her little boy.
"Yes. He's fine but I have to tell you there's another one. So I need you to push again."
"Wait. Wait. What?"
"We are going to have twins, baby", Alex now says. Looking at Maggie with heart eyes.
"And now push!"
Alex screams as she's pushing again and for the second time in 2 minutes Alex and Maggie here their newborn cry.
"Congratulations it's a girl."
"Oh my god. Alex they are so beautiful. Oh god", Maggie nearly screams brusting with happiness,
"You did it, babe."
"We did it.", Alex responds exhausted.
"Do you want to hold your babies?"
"Of course. Oh god, Maggie. You're right they are beautiful. They have your dimples", Alex giggles as she looks in her babies faces.
"But they have your eyes", Maggie looks at her little family and her heart is filled with love and happiness.
"Alex! Maggie!", Kara screams out as she and Lena get closer"Wait. There are two. Two little babies."
"Yes Kara", Alex says proud.
Kara and her fiancée step closer to the bed both smiling at their new family members. "So what are the names?", Lena asks.
"We haven't decided yet", Maggie answers.
"Okay well now is the time to do that."
"We haven't really thought about it... soo", Alex says. "Well I did", Maggie admitted quietly. "But I was scared and I didn't know if you would like them and I... I" "Hey babe look at me. Just tell me" "Okay well if it's a girl Alex Eliza and if it's a boy maybe Max Jeremiah? I know you miss your dad and your parents are the best so I want our kids to have their names. I mean if it's okay with you. And our daughter looks just like you I want her to have the most beautiful name too. "

"You do?"
"Of course"
"Then welcome Alex Eliza and Max Jeremiah Sawyer-Danvers on earth. From the moment we knew that we were pregnant you two were maybe the most loved human beings and me and your mom we love you like nothing else. More than our lifes", Maggie says with so much love in her eyes and in her voice. Alex can't choose to look at her babies or at her wife.
"Can I welcome my nephew and my niece now"
"Of course", Maggie says and steps aside.
"Hello", Kara welcomes the two with a grinder and kisses her sisters head "You did great, Alex"
