Everything about that place
Makes me want to leave.
Makes me want to disappear.
Because I messed up.
Because I make mistakes.
Sometimes
Everything about that place
Makes me want to smile.
Makes me want to live in that moment forever.
Because I feel like I did something right.
Because I feel included.
I love
The laughing at the joke
Everyone happy
And you can't stop smiling.
I hate
The feeling of embarrassment
Shutting down
And you'd give anything to be anywhere else.
And people wonder why some kids love school and why some hate it.
