Upon entering the school, Maxx immediately knew that he was going to stir things up. It's what he does best. He found his locker and put away the books he didn't need for the day. Before he could close the locker door, someone slammed it shut. Maxx turned toward them to see an angry red-head staring back at him.
"May I help you?" Maxx said with a smirk as he leaned on the lockers.
"Listen, kid, I don't know who the fuck you think you are, but you're new to this school. I run this shit and there is no way in hell that you are going to stroll in and fuck me over."
"Fuck you over what? A desk," Maxx laughed, "sorry, bud, but you don't seem my type. Try someone else."
"I'm not your 'bud', you can call me Josh."
Maxx sighed and picked up his bag while continuing the conversation, "Well, Josh, I would absolutely love to finish this conversation, but I have classes to attend."
Josh watched as the platinum blond walked away, unphased by the confrontation. He huffed and continued on toward his own classes.

Maxx entered the classroom just as the tardy bell rang. The teacher looked up from the position at her desk. She motioned for him to find a seat and start the assignment on the board. Maxx gave a kirt nod and scanned the room for an open desk. He found one next to a familiar blue eyed boy and quietly sat down.
"Nice to see you again," He startled the other, "so do u wanna cover for me while I sleep? Just a little backed up on the schedule."
"Uh that would be a no. You're already starting in the middle of a lesson. You can't afford missing anything else... I haven't got your name.."
"I'm Maxx," he smiled, "Maxx Danziger, and you?"
"I'' Cody Carson, it's a pleasure to meet you, Maxx."
The teacher hushed them from the front of the classroom. Maxx rolled his eyes as he leaned over his notebook. The two boys didn't speak for the rest of the period.

Maxx didn't want to deal with all the idiotic people in the cafeteria, so, he resorted to eating out in the courtyard. Not many people were out there because majority of the school ate inside. He liked the courtyard. It was a medium sized green area toward the front of school that had picnic tables and trees scattered around. He chose to sit with his back up against one of the trees.
He ate his lunch in silence as he observed the other kids in the yard. Most of them were in groups laughing and talking to each other. He scoffed and took out a cigarette, checking to see if there were any adults around. Right as he went to light it, a hand took it away.
"Hey! I paid for that you- oh, it's you."
"Well that sounded nice," Cody said before sitting, "why are you outside?"
"I like it more than being shoved around in a cafeteria that's packed like salmon."
"Good point, good point."
An awkward silence settled between the two. Maxx motioned for Cody to hand him back his cig and Cody obeyed. He put it back into the pack and put them away.
"So... what do you like to do on your free time?"
"Uh, I like to play the drums, skate, and on occasion I'll read a book."
"A children's book?"
The two (2) laughed at the clever banter and Maxx jokingly pushed Cody. His eyes seemed to capture the sunlight just right. Cody's smile was practically going from ear to ear. Maxx caught himself staring before Cody could notice and looked down at his hands.
Someone from a table a few feet away noticed the two under the tree and approached them. He had slightly curly/shaggy hair and a goofy smile.
"Hey, I saw you guys and were wondering if you would like to sit with me and," he pointed back toward the table, "my friend Dan?"
Maxx and Cody looked at each other before both nodding in agreement. The blond decided to ask the question: "What's your name, dude?"
"Oh! Yea I should probably tell you that. I'm Zach DeWall. And you two are?"
"I'm Maxx Danziger and this is my.. acquaintance Cody Carson."
Zach raised an eyebrow at the selective word before sitting down at the table. He was across from Dan so Maxx and Cody sat across from each other as well. Dan had very short blond hair and tanned skin. The group of boys quickly made conversation about literally anything. The bell rang which cut off a deep discussion about which of the four could jump the highest.
"I'm telling you," Cody said as they walked back, "I can definitely jump the highest. Have you seen my thighs?"
Maxx chuckled and whispered, "Fuck yea I have."
"Shut up, twink."
Maxx crossed his arms and looked at the brunette. Ignoring the comeback he waved and turned away from the group, entering his next class.
