Maxx's head darted up as he scrambled off the unknown person. He motioned for Cody to stay in the room. Standing with his arms crossed, he stood in the doorway slightly shaking. Mostly of anger. A little out of fear of losing Maxx.
"Maxx what the fuck is going on here? Who is thi-"
They both turned to look at the drunk teen on the bed. Maxx dropped his shoulders and made a disgusted face once he saw who it was. A fiery red-head stared back at them, but he looked like he wasn't completely aware of what was happening. Really? This fucking cockmunch??
"Well," he slurred from the bed," what are y'all starin' at?"
Maxx rolled his eyes before replying, "Oh shut the fuck up, Josh. If you weren't wasted I would be beating your ass right about now. I can't believe you.
"We all know I could fuck you better than this twig over here. It's obvious you want me, too. I can see it in your eyes," he said as he winked and stood.
That's when Maxx and Cody both burst into laughter. Cody seemed to be less upset now that he knew it was a simple mistake. He would still discuss it with Maxx later, though, just to clear the air.
"Let's get out of here, Cody. I bet the others are looking for us downstairs."
Cody nodded as they head out the room, his hand around Maxx's waist protectively. He looked back to see Josh heading their way with a strange gleam in his eye. Maxx seemed to sense him coming so he started to walk faster until they reached a run down the stairs. Both laughing as they lost Josh in the packed crowd.
"You scared me for a sec, Maxx. I thought you had played me!"
"I," Maxx said with a small smile," would never do something like that to the person I lo-... like.. I'm sorry that this happened and I swear on my timbs it will never occur again. Promise."
Cody laughed with a blush as the two met up with Dan and Zach.
