A/N: What is one supposed to do when all their ideas and thoughts have left and gone astray?

Jungkook stood there with his feet pinned to the ground wondering why Taehyung wouldn't have told him Tao was coming over, why Taehyung would tell Jungkook to leave without him, was it so he could go with Tao and not have Jungkook around? Thats the impression Jungkook is getting. Jungkook started thinking about ways to get someone else to take over Tao's job and thats when he found himself in front of a place thats known for their Ramen.

Jin is cleaning as the bell rings signaling someone entering.

"Jin!" Jungkook says with relief that he is working today, "we need to talk" he adds and he sits in the booth Jin is cleaning. Jin looks at Jimin and signals that he is going to take a small break. Jimin nods his head then rolls his eyes once Jin looks away. Jin sits across from Jungkook wondering what this could be about.

"Okay so today Taehyung got an interpreter, yeah pretty great right he can learn now and I'm very happy for him yay for learning you know..But like his interpreter showed up and he's like your age if not around it and I have to admit he is attractive like he isn't some ugly mean person or some middle-aged adult and I really don't like him and I really want you to take his place." Jungkook rambles on really fast explaining the situation.

"So you want me, to be an interpreter for Taehyung, even though he has one now?" Jin asks confused, its the only thing that he got from what Jungkook was saying.

Jungkook nods his head, Jin sighs as he puts his arms on the table.

"Jungkook lets be completely honest, you don't like me, you never have, so why would you even ask me such a thing?"

Jungkook looks down at the table and thinks about it. He remembers the scene that played out at Taehyung's door. He remembers his phone falling but the case saved the screen from shattering. Then he remembers his frantic run over here like it was his last resort.

"Well Jin lets just say this. Maybe I've opened up to the thought of you, and maybe I just don't trust people with blonde hair but now that your hair isn't blonde I trust that you won't steal my man"

"Taehyung isn't an object to be stolen"

"You won't steal my man"

"okay okay I won't make you lose your love, but I can't be his interpreter" Jin says and Jungkook drinks the rest of his water in the glass in front of him trying to drown in it.

"blonde hair has nothing to do with trust" Jin adds and he starts laughing

"you're overreacting, Jungkook chill" Jin says still laughing

"Am I?" Jungkook gives him a questioning gaze.

"Okay from the start you seemed tense, but look at you, have you been sleeping? You need help, and I need to get back to work...Remember this though, its up to the individual wether they lip read, speak, sign, use an interpreter, have a hearing aid..So really if Taehyung has an interpreter he has the power to get rid of him or change the person, its up to Taehyung " Jin pushes himself out of the booth and walks straight to the kitchen ignoring Jungkook's calls for him to come back. Jungkook nervously takes out his phone and looks at his reflection on the screen to see if he really looks tired.

"You said you wouldn't react and now look at you, not listening to yourself at all" Jungkook says then he slowly walks out of the restaurant and down the streets with his hands in his pocket.

"It's nothing, nothing..nothing? Nothing.. N O T H I N G" he thinks as he walks the busy streets.

"You should work on that homework you have left to do, ya..that" he mumbles as he walks up the stairs, he stands at the front of his door and fights his urge to look back to Taehyung's.

-----

"You're so young" Taehung's mom says as she stands across from Taehyung and Tao at the kitchen counter. Tao smiles.

"I just recently started working" Tao admits and she smiles as she continues making food.

"Im very glad Taehyung got someone as nice as you to help him out"

"Im happy I got this opportunity to meet such a great individual and help him out" Tao says not really knowing how to act in front of Taehyung's mom. He's older than Taehyung and is his interpreter now but yet they could be counted as new friends. He's conflicted between talking formally and casually, so he goes back and forth between informal and formal.

Tao's phone rings and he picks it up, "I'm so sorry I have to take this" Tao says and Taehyung's mom just smiles and says its fine. Tao signs a 'will be back' to Taehyung then walks out the front door, closing it slightly behind him. He looks straight a head at the doors in front of him.

"Yes?" He asks into the phone, his friend starts talking nonsense about how her day was and all Tao wants to do is hang up but he lets her talk anyways. He starts reading the apartment door numbers, as he reads the number 226 the door slowly opens, as if he casted a spell to open it. Tao pays attention to the door carefully. He watches a boy walk out, messy dark brown hair half asleep holding a trash bag, he puts his head up then turns to close the door.

"Jungkook?" Tao questions under his breath recalling the boy he met a few hours before, his friend on the other end of the line doesn't notice his question, to caught up in herself.

Jungkook half asleep from a nap takes the trash bag and drags it down the stairs to go throw it in the dumpster. Tao notices how oddly slow Jungkook is walking and goes to the stairs, he grabs Jungkook's arm just in time as Jungkook almost slips on a step.

"Thanks" Jungkook mumbles not even noticing the person who saved him from tumbling down the stairs.

"gotta wake up" Jungkook says out loud to himself as he gently puts his free hand to his cheek. He blinks a few times before walking normally the rest of the way down. Tao mentally thanks Jungkook for giving him a task to do while blocking out his friend, he walks back up the few steps he went down.

"Sorry I have to go" Tao says cutting her off, he hangs up and goes back into Taehyung's unlocked apartment.
