In contrary to what D.O's expects, Chen is quiet when they are finally inside his car. Somehow it's making him more nervous. Chen's playful nature is what's he's familiar with. A quiet and serious Chen is something D.O hasn't had the privilege to encounter that much yet.

Halfway to their destination, Chen finally opens his mouth, much to D.O's chagrin. He almost thought that if he keeps quiet too, then he would be safe from the confrontation.

"So you were on a date with Inha last Saturday night?" Chen starts. His tone is much serious than when they were at the coffee shop.

"It's not a date, and it was a Saturday noon." D.O corrects him.

Chen gives him his I don't believe you look.

"I don't need you to believe me." D.O responds with a shrug.

Chen takes a deep breath and prepares himself to speak, almost like a sales person about to start selling his product in front of a hard-to-convince client.

"D.O-ya, out of everyone from our group, I'm sure I'm the least person you expect to be talking like this because of the way I act on a daily basis regarding girls and relationships. And don't get me wrong. I'm not here to judge. It's just that..." Chen takes another deep breath. "...this is the first time I've ever seen you like this."

"Like what exactly?" D.O hopes that his stoic façade is still unreadable for Chen.

"I don't know..." Chen pauses for a while, his gaze wandering. "Like she's the one that can bring you all the happiness in the world?"

Chen seems unsure with his own words. Never the less, D.O goes quiet because Chen's statement is indeed a very accurate description of his feelings towards Inha right now.

Damn you're in so deep already Kyungsoo.

"Is that bad?" D.O manages to say.

"No!" Chen quickly counters. "Of course it's not bad, this stage in a relationship is fun. When you have a crush on someone, your days become brighter." Chen grinned before adding. "I'm just surprised that it's you of all people. I mean, you're always avoiding this kind of complication in your life and we both know that the line of girls trying to get your attention is just as long as mine."

D.O scoffs at that. Unfazed, Chen continues.

"But after the splendid meeting with your anima yesterday, I totally understand that you'll choose Inha over her." Chen nods. "Inha seems like a very nice girl."

"She is," D.O says without any hint of hesitation.

"And that is exactly why you need to be very careful with this, D.O."

"What do you mean?" D.O's eyes are still on the road as he asks. He's too busy finding a parking spot since it's Monday morning and in his campus it is quite a gamble, so he misses the way Chen worriedly looks at him.

"You know I've dated a lot of girls after we got back to Seoul, right?"

"Yeah, I don't think my fingers can count anymore." D.O jokes. He shifts his car to the right as he sees an empty parking spot.

"Well I'm not denying that fact but that's not the point." Chen's body is halfway turned to D.O's side by now. He's taking this Inha-talk really seriously.

D.O turns off his car engine, but doesn't make a move to get out from the car.

"Do you know what all of those girls that I've dated have in common?"
