"Hey, I'm here. What's the problem?" Alpha said, as he and Kion got to the guard.
"Well, these baboons just being chased by hyenas, but they're on top of a tree, so hyenas are trying to get them." Bunga said.
"Why can't you guys chase the hyenas away?" Alpha asked.
"We did! But they just keep coming back!" Fuli said.
"Hm....." Alpha said as he went closer to the hyenas.
"If you're trying to chase us away, it won't work! We're going to come back again!" Janja said, looking at Alpha.
"I don't think so, Janja. Leave the baboons alone." Alpha said, sounding a little bit angry.
"Why should I? I'm not just going to let this chanced go away! Are we?" Janja said the last 2 words to his clan.
"No way!" The hyenas said.
"Well then..." Alpha said.
Then, Alpha climbed the tree in a split second, and went running of as fast as a sound.
Then, he came back, about 5 seconds later.
"What? Nothing's changed." Janja said, laughing.
"Oh yeah? Look at the ground." Alpha said, grinning.
Then, Janja and the clan noticed that their paws were tied in some kind of a root.
"Wha- how!?" Janja said.
"Kion?" Alpha asked, grinning.
"Make sure you guys don't come here again!" Kion said, as he roared, sending the hyenas away.
"Nice, Al!" Bunga said, climbing on top of Alpha.
"Thanks." Alpha said, smiling.
Once the Lion Guard finished their patrol
"I think this is it." Kion said.
"Yeah. Let's go to the lair." Beshte said.
"Ok." Everyone agreed.
Once the guard went to the lair
"Uncle Al, that was so cool the thing you did back there." Kion said.
"Thanks." Alpha said.
Then, Alpha went to take a look at the paintings.
"Looking at the paintings?" Kion said, joining him.
"Yeah." Alpha said.
"You know, I'm glad you and dad cleared things up." Kion said.
"Me too." Alpha said, smiling.
"So... what happened to your best friends when you were a cub?" Kion asked.
"Malka, Tojo, Chumvi?" Alpha asked.
"Yeah." Kion replied.
"Um... I don't know." Alpha said, looking away.
"Uncle Al? I think you're hiding something." Kion said.
"I'm not." Alpha said.
"Weird... mom wouldn't say anything about it too." Kion said.
"Your mom?" Alpha said, confused.
"Yeah. I asked her, but she just kind of changed the subject." Kion said.
"Well, I gotta go somewhere now." Alpha said, leaving the lair.
Then, Alpha went to see Nala.
"Nala? Can I ask you something?" Alpha said.
"Sure." Nala said.
"Well, Kion told me that you changed the subject when Kion asked about Malka, Tojo, and Chumvi." Alpha said.
"I... did." Nala said.
"Why? Did something happen to them?" Alpha asked.
"Well, I don't know a lot about it. But I do know that they went to find you... and never cam back." Nala said.
"They went to find me?" Alpha asked.
"Yeah. I don't know the details no one does. But they just told me that they're going to go find you." Nala said.
"Ok. Well, I gotta go somewhere now. See ya later." Alpha said.
"Wait!" Nala said.
"What?" Alpha asked.
"Why do you always go somewhere?" Nala said.
"No reason..." Alpha said, looking away.
"If you say so..." Nala said, sighing.
"Well, see ya later." Alpha said as he went walking away.
Meanwhile, after a few minutes
"I brought some food for you guys." A mysterious lion's voice said.
"Thanks." Another mysterious lion's voice said.
"Good. You completed the mission." The mysterious lion's voice said.
"Yeah I did." Another mysterious lion's voice said.
"You're doing pretty well on those missions." Another mysterious lion's voice said.
"Thanks." A mysterious lion's voice said.
"Well, we're getting closer..." The mysterious lion's voice said.
"Yeah. Closer... closer to them..." A mysterious lion's voice said.
