The Grimm Reaper was alone. Very Very alone. He had become a hermit, living in a cave mostly, and feeding off lost cats. Slowly his memories of his pat life faded away. His girlfriend had been erased from history. He asked around, not even her own family knew who she was. Depression slowly overcame him. He knew his daughter didn't exist either but for some strange reason her memories and dreams floated around inside his head. She was very real to him, but still didn't exist. But he wanted her to though. The very thought of trying to keep her alive is what kept him going, Usually the reapers are interdimensional beings who are immortal, but slowly he realised his ability to feel pain. He was becoming human. And one day before he was about to take his own life, he met someone. A fan.

Since she was a little girl Cassie Waters was obsessed with stories of the Grimm Reaper. When her parents died she saw him floating above her dead grandparents bodies and then carring them, one by one down beneath the floorboards.  She loved her grandparents so very much and couldn't bare the thought of staying with her abusive, alcoholic parents, so she decided she wanted to go too. To the underworld. But didn't know how. The thing is she didn't want to die. She still wanted to be alive, so her soul wasn't trapped forever, all she wanted was to visit. Soon she started claiming that she could see the Grimm Reaper. Claiming he wasn't an imaginary friend, but real. Psychologist after Psychologist she refused to let go. Eventually as she got older her obsession got stronger and she developed a crush on him. She wanted to marry him and gain his powers. That's when she went off the rails, murdering people just to see him. She even forgot about her grandparents who died for unknown reasons. After a few years in prison she was let out, but had no money and become homeless. She killed animals but nothing happened. Where was the Grim Reaper? And then, after hearing strange voices inside her head she followed them. To the Grimm Reapers Cave.

He was thin, bony and had a dark shadowy skin, which was obscured by a black transparent cloak that covered most of his body. He looked sad, tears streaking down frightening face. She couldn't believe it she finally found him.
