out of the fog

New to town...... This is gonna suck, i just want to stay in this room... This new dark comfy room and not come out. Night fall comes and the roads are covered with fog and slight mist, i walk out side with my head phones on looking around seeing nothing but trees.
One thing i love about this place is that its so green here, trees and grass... Everything is alive but, me.... Yeah i know a Vampire whoopty do so fun right all mysterious and dark well honestly thats how it is. Imagine watching everyone you love die in front of you and all around you. Just.... Dropping like flys tell me.... How happy would you be? How bright and cheer full could your eternity be? I... I dont know i wish i could end it im suck a 23 year old for my whole life ill never be old ill never have kids. Ive only been a vampire 10 years and people have started dying around me, so i moved no more communication between my old life just a whole new me. No enemies, no lovers, no friends....
I lay in the middle of the road looking up into the darkness feeling the light mist on my face. My neck snaps to the sound of humans walking .... Why are they walking at 3:22am? I hear a glass bottle drop, that explains it, drunk people... I watch as they come closer.
"Hey there neighbor!!!! Im Alex, my friends and i are slightly intoxicated and i was wondering if you can help me carry this dumbass inside."
"Umm...i, i guess."
"Im not that drunk though but my friend is past drunk."
He chuckles showing off his pearly whites, i sigh knowing im in trouble.
"Okay."
I put his friends arm over my shoulder making it look like he was heavy, we walk down the road slowly.
"So whats your name?"
"I think its best if you don't know anything about me."
"And why is that?"
"Because im dangerous to know and i dont mean that in a sexy way."
"He stops and looks at me."
"I don't mind a bit of danger in my life."
"Well your drunk so i cant even take you seriously at the moment."

I bite back a smile and curse in my head..... This guy already has me.

Morning comes and consumes all the outside making hosting a solitary me in darkness. My friend has a walk way to his backyard and its light by outside light just enough so it won't hurt and you can see outside. I wish i could have that here in my big back yard but, im comfortable in my dark house with my movies and couch.
I must go hunting tonight for a walking blood bag, someone healthy and strong willed but also easily manipulated. Basically an man in a bar, i giggle to myself, might as well have him good looking too. No shame in having man candy walking around the house to keep me occupied.... Right?
I watch Alex's friends drive away from his house at 3pm i need to sleep before tonight.
Waking up to knocking at my door at 10pm the sky is dark and so is the house as usual, my brain confused as to who would be at my door this time of night. My ears search for noise and hear his voice... Alex? I scurry downstairs and stop at the door my hand stopping as i contemplating on opening the door.
"I know your at the door."
My hand on the door knob stops.
"Just open the door already scardy cat."
I open the door and step out closing it behind me.
"Why are you here at this hour?"
"Because i know people like you are always up at this time."
"People like me? What does that even mean"
He stops himself from talking,
"People with insomnia... Yall stay up at all hours of the night."
I breath a sigh of relief.
"I was actually asleep so you really just woke me up."
"I thought i saw a light on downstairs."
"What?"
I turn quickly going back inside only to be pulled back outside.
"I lied i didnt see a light on."
Okay now im confused....
"What?"
"I lied i didnt see a light on i just thought you had insomnia because you were up late last night. I just wanted to hang out."
"So you wanted to hang out at night?"
"Yeah now that you say it out loud it seems creepy and weird and im just going to leave now before i freak you out."
Still with a sleepy brain i stand there a bit confused and hear the words "Wait" come out of my mouth.
He turns around slowly and stands there looking at me as i look at him.
"Well looks like im not gonna be able to sleep anytime soon... You still wanna hang out?"
"Ummm yeah... But, are you sure?"
"Yeah... Just let me put on some warm clothing first and we can hang out side."
"Outside? Its freezing?!"
"Well my..... My house is a mess right now... We can build a fire and just chill."
"Yeah ill definitely be chill... Can we just maybe go to my house?"
I bite my lip thinking for a second...
"Umm yeah i guess we can do that."
"Okay ill wait here while you put some warm clothes on then."
I nod and head inside and put a hoodie on over my sports bra and come pajama pants.
"So why did you come at night to my door instead during the day?"
"Truth?"
"Truth."
"I don't like the sun all that much and i just got off work so yeah... Thought id take a chance to see if you were up."
"What do you mean you just got off work? I saw your car in your drive way then your friends leave your house at 3."
"Have you been watching my house?"
"N-no i just noticed earlier."
"Oh okay, well i have 3 cars i took my Firebird to work and left the Mustang there."
"Ah.. That explains it."
He nodded and it fell silent for a few awkward seconds, we got to his door and opened it for me to walk in. It was warm unlike my house, i take a deep breath in a the scent of him and his house fills me. He smells so good, what is that amazing smell?
"It smells really good in here."
"Oh yeah my cologne is very strong."
I follow him into his living room the walls are a deep red with black drapes covering the windows. I sit on his couch and sink into it so comfortably, he sits next to me and turns on his tv.
"Do you want a drink?"
"Ummm sure."
Im not sure how im supposed to fake drink ive never hung out with a human long enough to actually do human things. I havent had a human drink since i was human, what if it taste horrible or it physically hurts to drink it?
"What do you want to drink"
"Ummm soda?"
He nodds and brings me a Big Red.... Ugh i miss Big Red i havent had it in so long. My throat starts to go dry as i remeber the taste and then my mouth starts to water as well. Hopefully it taste like it used too.... I watch Alex sit down and see his vains pumping all that wonderful blood following a stomach growl.
"You want me to make you something?"
"No, no ill be fine."
"Are you sure?"
I try not to look stressed over a simple question.
"Yeah im sure."
"So where are you from?"
"Oh im from around i never really called a place home im always moving."
"And why is that?"
"I just have a bad habit of not being able to stay in one place for to long."
"Well maybe you'll be able to call this place home."
My laugh comes out nervous as hell and maybe rude too.
"Sorry i dont mean to laugh."
He didnt say anything he just smiled and put a movie on. Did i already ruin what could have been my only and maybe last friendship? No he would have kicked my ass out of his house already, or maybe he's just being nice. My thoughts are tackled by banning on the door.
"Whos that?"
"I think it might be my friends.... I didnt know they were coming so thats weird."
My insticts kick in as i go to look out of the window, please don't be for me i cant have another human die because of me. Relife wahses over me as i see two of his friends i recognize, they are not here for me.
"Hey guys, i wasn't expecting to hang today. Whats up?"
"Well you havebt answered your phone all day so we cane to check up on you. You know being good friends."
"I just woke up guys but i think im going to go back to sleep, im really tired still."
Tired? Maybe i should leave then?His friends end up leaving and i sneek into the kitchen and sit in the counter.
"So your feeling tired?"
He turns to me and stands infront of me.
"And if i am? Would you care to join me in bed?"
I bite my lip and smile.
"You wish."
He pulls my legs they are each on the side of him, his hands on my waist.
"Hmmm are you sure?"
"Im pretty sure."
His face gets close to mine his lips close to mine.
"Ahhhhh fuck!!!!!!"
I fall out of bed with my arm on fire from the sun peeking threw my window. I thought i closed those! I smack myself on the head as a flash back of my dream flood my head.... I can NOT be dreaming of him especially a human. Ugh stupid brain stupid feelings, i thought when you turn into a vampire all these silly emotions go away.
Its finally night time i can drink my drink smoke a cigarette and relax. Its a beautiful night the stars are bright the moon is huge and orange. I sip my blood its nice and warm in my mug almost steaming, A negative is the best but most expensive because of it rareity. Ugh it feels so amazing to drink this after a long day of sleeping and having sexy dreams of Alex. I chuckle to myself thinking about it.
"Whats so funny?"
I look over to the road and ses him walking to my yard with his hands in his pockets a black long sleve on and jeans. He looks pretty yummy roght now, i notice his silver chain with a crucifix on it. So he's religious too, cute....
"Oh nothing just thinking about something."
He sits with me under my beautiful tree.
"And what is that?"
"Just a dream, hoping it'll stay that was as a dream."
"And why is that?"
"I cant handle all the drama that could come along with it."

I look at him up and down yeah he's trouble definatly.

"It was long and stressful."

"I was getting my divorce finale."

Divorce at this age? He's only about 24.....

"Look who's asking all the questions now? And just to young to be married we eneded up being two totally diffrent people. It was a mutual understanding though so thats good."

"She used to be but, her insides started to match her outsides and well yeah... So no."

I sip my drink and feel warm and alive.
"What you drinking there?"
"Uhhh just something i made."
"Can i try?"
"I dont recommend it."
"Oh... So how was your day?"
"It was the same long and stressful."
"How so?"
"Oh i just slept all day."

We both laugh
"Hows that stressful?"
"My dreans remeber?!"

We laugh once more, mine slowly starts to die off as he scoots closer to me.
"Sorry im a lil cold."
"Do you want a blanket?"
"Look at you making me look like whimp."
I giggle a bit,
"Sorry the cold doesnt bother me, im quite fond of it actually."
"And whys that?"
"I have a cold soul..... Also im from Texas where its always hot."
He chuckles,
"Whats texas like?"
"I just told you."
He chuckles again,
"No really whats it like? Is it like how movies make it seem?"
"Hell no, we do nkt ride horses everwhere and we do not have a crazy country accent, and we dont eat chilli all day. Its more like we love tacos, swimming, Big red, mexican food and BBQ."
"Whats Big Red?"
"Only the best soda ever."
"Better thank Coke?"
"To me yes."
"So you wanna listen to some music or go watch a movie?"
I hesitate,
"I actually have to go work right now."
"Work at this hour of night?"
"I work at home, i love it."
I really dont work by the way i just rob rich people if their money and give some if it away.... Kind of like Robin Hood.
"Oh okay well i guess i should be letting you go then?"
"Yeah."
"Will i see you tomorrow?"
"Maybe, i have alot of stuff to do."
"Like?"

"I need to clean my creepy attick."

"Yeah, its dirty full of spiders and god knows what else and yeah its probably going to take up my whole day, yeah know?"
"Umm sure? Well if you need help just let me know..."
"Yout not working?"
"Dont need too, my parents are dead and they left me a huge life savings."

"Not really i mean their dead so yeah..."
I see sadness in his eyes, damn am i really that humanly un attached that i didnt even think he coukd be sad about his parents passing?
"Im sorry, i can be a little emotionally un attached when it comes to family because i never had one. I didnt mean to sound so cold."
"Its okay i understand, well ill let you go then."
He stands up and offers me his hand to help me up. I take it willingly not even thinking about the connection that could spark from a single touch.
"Whoa."
My head goes light headed and my legs fall weak just by the touch of his hand. This guy it T.R.O.U.B.L.E!!!!
"Whats wrong?"
"Nothing just got a little light headed."
"Here let me carry you to your door."

Before i know it im in his arms being carried like a baby, my face close to his neck, his blood is strong and consuming. I want to bite him so bad!!! I smell his skin
"You smell so good!"
He chuckles
"Thanks."
Fucking weirdo, your such a fucking weirdo!!!!! He outs me on my couch and looks around, i close my eyes for a second taking in that amazing hit of light headedness.
"Your place is bad ass. How much does your work pay you?! I want in."
I chuckle a bit and think to myself well all you have to do is rob some small banks lol and be unhumanly fast.
"Sorry i dont think i can tell you."
"I don't need to work on account of the money my parents left me but i still like to, i like to donate the money mostly. People out there in the world need it more than i, being humble makes me happy."
Can this guy be any more sweet? He actually cares about others more then himself.
"Thats very thoughtful of you."

I sit up and pertend to yawn.
"I think i should get work now, im behind on a project so yeah...."
"You can tell me to leave you know i wont get mad."
He chuckles to himself.
"Ill see you later then, thanks for visiting me for a bit."
He walks to the door.
"Same time tomorrow?"
He wants to hangout again? I must be interesting or something or maybe he's just trying to get lucky.
"Um sure, yeah that sounds good."
"You gonna be okay? You feeling well?"
"Yeah ill be fine no worries."
"Text me if you need anything?"
"Okay."
He takes my phone and puts his number in mine then txts himself.
"Got it.... Well goodnight then. Sweet dreams."
"You too Alex."
The door closes and im left there alone and now the depression hits me again. Damn this guy is like magic or something, i walk into the kitchen and pour myself another hot cup of blod taking it to my room. I make sure to close the blinds this time so i wont get burned, feeling my phone vibrate i smile. Alex.....
" hows work going?
"I havent started yet... Still geting set up lol."
"Better get on it or youll miss your deadline huh?"
"Lol well i could if you stopped txting me Alex."
"But im bored lol and your the only night owl i know."
"Lol you need more friends."
"Your the only night owl i want to know.... Lol."
"Go to bed dork."

I wake up at around 8:30pm still a bit sleepy, i check my phone and see a few alerts.
"Wake up already im bored-__-"
"Are you up yet? No woner your up all night lol"
"Me and my friends are going to hang at my place if you want to come"
"My friends are so predictable can you please come over im so bored."
I smile as my phone vibrates
"Im coming over to wake your beautiful self up....."
I jump out of bed and use my vampire quickness to get all dressed up all pretty and get in my car go to the beginning of the street then start to head back to my house. I see Alex walking to my house and stop infront of him, his hands in his pockets rubbung the back of his neck. I pull into mh driveway and slowly step out if the car.

I shake my head noticing that our line of creatures are so different...
I never realised they have it so hard... Worse than mine... Mine seems so easy compared to theirs.

She giggles, her body starts to go limp... She relaxed enough to sleep in my arms. I carry her to what looks like her room and make sure there is no light that can pass threw. I get to sleep next to this beauty, and hold her tight and close to me. I wont let anything happen to her.... I make this promise to her, myself and my wolf.....
