I lay with her in her bed watching her sleep holding ber close to me nit wanting to let go. I nudge her to wake up, "I have to go see Drake, ill come back as soon as possible." She nods her head then i kiss her forehead, outside the sun i shining making it a comfortable kind of cold. The sky is a mixture of blues and pinks, its such a beautiful day.... A day i wish she could see. That option being stolen from her i pull oit my phone and take as many pictures as i can.... Of the sky, the dew on the grass, the way the sunshines threw the trees, how the flowers have so much more color with the light on them.... Ive taken all of this for granted, knowing she cant witness this makes me feel so much heart ache. I wonder if she misses it because, if i were her i would so dearly. I smile as i reminisce her lips upon mine... The way she makes me feel is like something ive never felt before in my life. "Where did you go?" "I have to go see my Alpha remember..." My favorite was two dogs playing right in the sun light jumping in a field full of purple flowers. I smile to myself as i see children playing.... We will never have that.... Thats something ill have to get over though, its not her fault she cant have children. . . . . While i sleep i dream, i dream of him and his arms and how held me all night making me feel safe and sound. I didnt have any nightmares not one, i felt at peace and that's something i haven't felt in a very long while. I sit on my porch drinking my blood and smoking a cigarette waiting for Alex to drive past. I hear the sweet sound of his beautiful FireBird, i smile as he drives by winking at me. I pull his hand to follow me inside, my stomach feels like butterflies are inside it as he pulls me on the couch with him. I fit in his arms like a puzzle piece, i melt in them feeling so relaxed that is until i feel someone is outside the door. I know that smell, Drake is here, i roll my eyes. "Your alpha is here." I go to the door. "What do you want Drake?" "I came.... To apologies for the other night. I was drinking and got heated easy." "Oh.... Okay?" He walks away as do i, "Thats was weird." "What?" I look at his phone, and see pictures of the beautiful sky in moring, its so beautiful... My eyes tear up seeing how pretty and alive the flowers look when the sun is on them. Their was so many pictures even of dogs in the park and children playing.... Thats something ill never have, children. These pictures are so perfect and so random... "How did you know id love them to much?" "I just saw what i took for granted and i knew youd appreciate them." "This means so much to me." He smiles knowing im happy. "I just want you to smile as much as possible when we are together." "I dont see that being a problem." "Good." He chuckels to himself, and the conversation stops. I feel his body going limp, he's starting to fall asleep. I turn to look at him, his thick full eye lashes, beautiful lips and perfect nose. "Your perfect." I whisper to him while be sleeps so peacefully, please if there is a god.... Please keep him safe in the upcoming danger... I watch him sleep for a while watching him twitch while he dreams, this smile wont come off my face. I feel sunrise about to come and exhaustion hits me hard, i grab a blanket feeling him shiver from my cold skin and lay back down with him. My eyes close and sleep finds me so fast while in his arms. . . . Alex pov I wake with her in my arms feeling a tad bit cold from her skin bit she tried to keep my warm with a blanket. I smile looking down at her, "You are so gorgeous." My lips on her cheek, i dont want to leave this couch like never i just want to keep her in my arms forever. I hear a knock on the front door and run down to answer it. "Yes?" "Im looking for Avena." He's dressed in all black a cap hiding his face. "Theres no one here by that name." "Oh, well tgen why is this this mail addressed to Avena?" "I dont know who you are but you need to leave." He chuckles, "Silly dog." I feel my chest vibrating from wanting to shift to my wolf, keep calm.... "Okay im going to ignor what you just said and close the door." He stops it with his foot making me more upset. I feel myself being pushed out of the way falling to the floor, i see blurs of fighting between them then smoke every where coming from both of them. After trying to see who's winning they stop, she has her foot on his neck as he lays on the ground. "Ready to die?" "For Kane." "Fuck Kane." He stomps on his neck separating it from his body, she rips all of his clothes off and it catches fire. She smiles her body burnt black, she falls to ground and i rush to get her out of the sun. I carry her in my arms running to my house. "Guys i need yall!!!!!" The pack runs down and freeze when they see her burnt body. "Call mazicka!!!!" They scurry all over the housesome grabbing herbs and oils Drake preps the blend and start putting it on her skin. "Alex help me now." I nod my head and start to rub the oil blend all over her skin. "You need to take her to her room and get her undressed rub the rest of the blend on her then cover her in white and wait for Mazicka." "Okay." She whimpers as pick up her burnt body my heart aches knowing she's hurting. I get her to my room and lay her down and she opens her eyes. "Whats going on?" "My doctor is coming to see you for your burns." She looks at her skin and chuckles. "I've had way worse than this Alex dont worry i just need to sleep for 3 hours and ill be fully healed." "Are you sure?" "Yeah." "Okay, im going to lay with you. Just let me tell the others." "Others?" "My pack, they are worried, they have never seen anyone this badly burnt and wanted to make sure my mate would be okay." "Mate?" I chuckle, "Ill explaine later , just sleep my queen." "Your so cute." I watch as she falls into a deep slumer, i go downstairs to find everyone waiting for her and i. "Where is your mate?" "She's sleeping.... They have healing powers not as advanced as ours but she has reassured me tjat she only needs a few hours to sleep and she will be fully healed." "Are you sure she will be okay? I smile and hug him then return to my queen, her body so still not moving at all.... No need for her to breath or anything. I pull her into my arms trying to be as gentle as i can, her body limp and lifeless i cant help but want to wake her to make sure shes alive. My heart feels so wraped up in her, knowing shes mine i cant ever walk away from her. I found my mate and im so happy and scared that something is going to happen for us not to be together. I try to fihht the bad feelings away the visions in my mind of what just happened make me wonder what the hell is really going on and the way she pushed me out of the way reassures me that there is something more sinister going on here. Hopefully she will tell me so i can help her, i must do all i can to protect her in any means necessary.
I wake in the night Alex's arms wrapped around me holding me close, my throat starts to burn for the need of blood. I move Alex's arm so i can get up i instantly hear an knock on the door and grab the robe thats hanging on bed frame. "Its me Drake." "Come in." He opens the door and a huge punch hits me as i smell blood, my teeth come out as i refrain myself from attacking. "Alex asked me to get blood from your house, it took me a while to find it but i did eventually." "Thank....you..." I take the two blood bags and poke a hole and start chugging, color starts to come back to my skin. I feel stronger with every gulp of blood that goes into my system. My body lifts in the air as i reach my peak, my quench has been fulfilled. "You can fly?" "Umm will i can kinda. Not like long distances only from one room to another kind of thing, nothing to radical." "Thats cool." I nod my head feeling awkward, "Ill leave yall alone now, let me know if yall need anything." "Whats wrong?" "Your keeping things from me that i should know and need to know. Not only me but my pack, its not just you now it us its this pack. The nothers children and their fathers and their fathers and mothers. I cant knownthey are at risk and not know exactly from what or why. Its not fair to me or them and i cant enter this blind." I sit there feeling my stomach turning, ugh i don't want to talk about it. "My Maker wants me to come back to him and i hate him, he made me kill my bestfriend. Then he brain washed me to fall inlove with him and then he cheated on me to i cheated on him with his brother.... Then he killed him and now he is after me." "Wh-what? Yeah." I try not to burst out crying because he just doesnt get it but a tear escapes. "Why are you crying? Did i say something wrong?" "You dont get how powerful he is and all the people he knows.... Im scared i have to contanstly be looking over my shoulder fearing that he will be there lurking in the shadows watching and i wont even know it till its too late. He's toying with me already and keeps saying he's close... One of his followers found me yesterday and tried to kill me. If they knew what and who you are he woukd have killed you without giving it a second thought.... You could be gone.... Could have been gone if i wouldn't have woken up." He stays quiet for a bit. "Then you will teach me everything i need to know so i can be prepared and you can teach the pack as well." "You think thats a good idea?" "Of course... He smiles so big u swear he's on top of a mountain in his mind, and im oddly looking forward to sleeping in his arms every night and waking uo to him. Just knowing im going to be closer to him than ever just makes my slightly beating heart warm and fuzzy. I smile inside, and snuggle against him, this feeling might not last only beaches i don't how long we have until Kane comes but im going to savore every moment i have with him... . . . . . . .
