Life has been easy.... Simple.... We live in England now, everyone talks weird and the food is pretty amazing. We look around i see the dark figure again but, i cant see the face....only a grin. Chills run up and down my arms, i push the bloody shots away as the bartender brings us the shots. I take 2 trying to relax, some one is fucking with me and someone knows what i am.

"The hospital is 2 mile that way."

He looks behind me.

He clears his throat and helps me inside. I lay on his couch withering in pain.
"What happened?"
"This is going to sound crazy but, someone found the cure and put in my drink."
"THE CURE?"
"Yes THE CURE."
"Why wouldn't you want to be cured?"
"Weakness, sickness, dying."
"I assume this is your mate, yeah? Do you want to watch him die? Do you want to live forever watching everyone around you die?"
I look at Alex and he looks down,
"No i dont but, ive been in to many dangerous situations and me being what i am has saved me plenty times before."
"You were in danger because of what you ARE, you wouldnt be if you were human."
I stay quiet... Are all of my enemies dead? Are all of Alex's?
I look at Alex and he gives me a faint smile.
"Alex what do you want me to do?"
"Your leaving it up to me?"
"Yes."
He stands up scratching his head...
"Can it be reversed if she hates it?"
"Im not sure.... Ive never see this before... A cure has never been found. If the time comea and she wants to be changed back.... And if she doesn't mind i will try change her back."
"Okay...."
He walks around the room thinking...

"We didn't catch your name."
"Roger willis."

He takes a needle out
"Lets see if your skin has humanized..."
We both concentrate the needle slios in like nothing, the "blood" is getting lighter from black to maroon....
"Its happening so fast."
"Yes it is.... This cure seems to have no side effects as well... Someone must have drive themselves crazy perfecting this anecdote."
"Whoever is was either has somethimg against me to make me weak or is doing it to help me... Either way,can i count on you to protect us?"

I nod and Alex picks me up.
