Morning and Evening Supplication

Sura Fatiha

Arabic

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (١)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ(٢)

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيم(٣)

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ(٤)

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ(٥)

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ(٦)

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ(٧)

Transliteration
1• Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

2• Alhamdu li Llaahi Rabbil' aalamiin.

3• Ar Rahmaanir- Raheem.

4• Maaliki yaomid- diin.

5• Iyyaa Ka na' budu, was iyya Ka nastaiin.

6• Ihdinas siraatal mustaqeen.

7• Siraatal ladhiina an' amta 'alaihim, gaeril magduubi 'alaihim walad- doollen.

Translation
1• In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

2• All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

3• The Beneficent, the Merciful.

4• Master of the Day of Judgment.

5• Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.

6• Keep us on the right path.

7• The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
