So, I went shopping with Annie and got some new clothes but I didn't get much for myself. I got clothes and toys for Rose and some underwear for Ash. Why? I don't know. Maybe because I felt bad for taking his? Anyway. Annie dragged me from shop to shop and got me things behind my back. Saying and I quote ' you'll thank me later.'
So we drove back home and I dropped the bags at the entrance, took my shoes off and walked into the living room and what I saw really made my heart melt.

Rose was sleeping on Ash's chest in his arms. And I just had to snap a picture. Ash was sleeping too, holding her very protectively. I walked up to them and sat next to Ash making sure not the wake them. I put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, letting the darkness take over me.
************ Ash Mortimer:
I had fallen asleep on the sofa with Rose after lunch and after the meeting. I had sent most of my men off to make deals, do trades at the docks, send more men to get the money people owed me and so on. I've grown very fond of Rose and her mother is just as beautiful. But I feel like I've met her before but I just can't put my finger on it.
After a couple of hours, I heard the door open and I knew Everleigh was back from her shopping trip. I was awake but I kept my eyes shut waiting for what she would do and to my surprise, she sat next to me and placed her head on my shoulder. And with that, we both fell asleep once more. During our nap, she had curled up to me and I had placed my arm around her waist pulling her closer whilst still holding Rose on my chest. I was hearing "oohs" and "awww" as well as camera clicks and "look at boss and MRS boss." I could get used to her being MRS boss but I decided to scare them a bit
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" I opened my eyes taking my hand off Rose and rubbing my eyes. Soon I heard the two girls groan and wake up too.
"Dada.... " Rose snuggled closer to me and I put my hand on her back once more rubbing circles to wake her up gently, like my mother did when I was a baby.
"Mmmm... Ash. Why is everyone around us?" And that's when her beautiful green eyes met mine. I kissed her forehead and told her
"I'll sort this out, angel."
She sat up next to me, still with my arm around her waist.
"You heard her, why are you all around her like that?"
"Well.. boss." Louis started rubbing his neck as Paul continued
" There was a problem at the docks. Nothing major, we got attacked by the red eagles. We got rid of most of them and some are in the basement ready to be questioned." Then Carter added
