Chapter 16: All About Silver

"SILVER!" I yelled while exiting the bathroom with only a towel around my waist. How did he even get in?! And what does he mean by he lives here now?!
"SILVER!" I shouted, once again. Where is he? He's not in the bedroom, so hopefully the living room.
"Why do you keep yelling? You'll wake everyone in the building up." Silver said while pouring himself a bowl of my favorite cereal.
"You're eating the rest of my cereal!"
"I'll buy you some more." He said while pouring in the milk.
"That's not the point! What do you mean you live here now?" I asked while crossing my arms.
"I need a place to stay for awhile, so I thought it would be best to live with you." He said with a wink. I felt my face flush. Silver sat down at the kitchen table.
"Well, don't go any where! I need to get dressed." I said while walking towards my bedroom.
"You don't have to get dressed." He said with a spoonful of Cocopuffs.
"You pervert!" I said. Luckily he didn't see my face, I was beet red.

I quickly got dressed into my Mudkip pajama bottoms and a black t-shirt. I need to get some answers from him.
"So, why do you need to stay here?" I asked while sitting across from him.
"It's not sketchy." What is he talking about?
"What?"
"This building mostly has college kids, they won't suspect Team Rocket to be here." He said. So I'm basically covering his ass?
"What did you do to become a suspect?" I asked. He has to be here for a reason besides that.
"I'm not, I just don't want to be. So, I'm living with you." He replied.
"But you can't just, do that." I hardly know him! I can't live with a stranger! But I really like this stranger...
"I'll do whatever you want." He said. This is my chance to find out more about him!
"I want to know more about you!!" I blurted out. lol I look really dumb right now. Silver stopped eating, he looked shocked.
"That's all? You don't want any money?" He asked with one eyebrow up.
"Well, I'm not concerned about rent right now, besides, your money is probably not legal." I said with a laugh. Silver gave a small smile.
"Alright, ask away then. And you need to answer the same questions. I'd like to know more about you as well." He said, relaxing into his seat.
"Um, where are you from?"
"Goldenrod City in Johto."
"I'm from New Bark Town!" I said with a smile.
"Hah, that's cool."
"What's your favorite candy?"
"Black licorice." Ew.
"I like starburst. How old are you?"
"Twenty four."
"I'll be twenty four in July. Um, what are your hobbies?"
"I like *beep* to *beep* train my *beep* Crocan- *beep* naw." His phone was buzzing the entire time.
"Your phone is buzzing." I said. Silver picked up his phone and set it back down.
"It's just my sister."
"Why didn't you tell me you have a sister?"
"You didn't ask."
"Well, is she cool?"
"No, she's insane."
"What's her name?"
"Blue." Blue? Red talks about some crazy woman named Blue all the time.
"Um is she involved with someone named Red?" I asked. Silver looked at me in shock.
"She is, do you know her?"
"No, I know Red and he talks about how she's been harassing him for months."
"Yeah, she's gone insane in the past few years." Silver stopped to look at the messages Blue sent him.
"She just told me that Red refuses to marry her and kicked her and his mom out of his house. She also said that he thinks he's gay and it's impossible that he is apparently."
"Wait, marry?" Red said something about there being drama involving her.
"Yeah, Blue had me steal an engagement ring for her. I didn't want to know what she was gonna use it for, but I assumed it was for something crazy." He explained.
"Wow that is crazy. I didn't know that she would force him to marry her. And there is no way that Red is straight. Trust me."
"Yeah, something happened to her."
"What was she like when you were younger." I asked. Silver looked away from me.
"Well, It's a long story."
"I'll listen." I said.
"I guess you could say it happened when I was four and blue was seven. We were kidnapped from our dad and were raised in a cult. We wore these masks as well. We weren't allowed to leave it so we went along with them. Blue cared a lot about me and always made it her priority to keep me safe during that time. She was thoughtful and very nice. When Blue was thirteen and I was ten, we escaped. We somehow managed to get to Kanto and have lived here ever since. Also, Blue and I have different mothers, so she went to Pallet Town to live with her side of the family, and I went to Viridian to be with my dad. She used to tell me about Red and how much she loved him, but he didn't show any interest. He was praised by the town and Blue felt left out since she was taken away as a small child. She kind of snapped and hasn't been the same for over ten years. It really hit her hard. She's been batshit crazy ever since. I don't talk to her as often, but I'll always be there for her." He explained. Silver got up from his seat to wash his bowl out.
"Wow, that sounds rough. You know, being kidnapped and forced into a cult." I said. I honestly don't know what to say to him.
"I guess so, I'm over it now, it's been a long time. Blue has never been well at rejection, so that could be a reason why she went berserk along with the cult stuff." He explained. He didn't say anything afterward, he stared at the ground. I can't imagine how hard and scary that must have been. I don't know what I would do if I was taken away from Mom.
"Enough about me and Blue, tell me more about yourself." Silver said with a smile.

I told Silver the basics about me. I lived with my mom, never met my dad, only had one girlfriend, love to gamble, incredibly smart, ya know, important stuff. I think that I will like having Silver around. I already like him, so maybe something good could happen between us.
