Chapter 19: Major Problem

Red just took me to the gym tournament that happens once every two months. We always go since we're huge Erika fans. I wonder if Silver likes battles. I should have asked him last night.

We talked more about him living here last night. He said that it's safer for him to live here, but I feel that there's more to it. I don't mind him living with me, I won't be lonely or have to sleep alone. My stomach gets butterflies and my heart flutters when I'm around him. It's strange that I'm getting these for a boy instead of a girl. When I dated Crystal in high school, I never felt like this around her. I liked her, but not how I like Silver.

I just got into my dark apartment. I specifically told Silver to keep the lamp light on. I felt the wall for the light switch and turned it on. I've been on high alert for Silver when it's dark in the apartment in case he broke in again. But now he lives here so he wouldn't have to have to break in. It still freaks me out sometimes.

I looked around to see if he was home yet. I checked each room but I couldn't find him. He must be at work still. Speaking of work, I need to get ready for work. I have a five to ten shift tonight. I have school tomorrow as well, and I'm not looking forward to it. Monday's are always the worst. I'd like to see him before I leave for school, but it's Silver, so who knows when he'll be back. He comes and goes at random times.

My shift right now is really slow and boring. I'm the only one working right now. Wally took the morning shift and that puts me on the evening shift. Wally has been acting strange lately. I saw him this morning and he was stressed out. He dropped his keys and forgot his bag and called me by the wrong name. He also had a coffee thermos and he doesn't even drink coffee. I hope he's okay, Wally is a good person. I feel bad for picking on him all the time. I make fun of his size and pull pranks on him. I once cut open a bag of fertilizer and made him stock the bags and it got all over him. I thought it was hilarious at the time, but now I feel bad. He's always been nice to me.

I was walking up the stairs to head to my apartment. It's a quarter past ten and I'm starving. I'm too exhausted to do some actual cooking, so I guess I'll have a hot pocket or something.

I opened the door and didn't see Silver inside. I'm disappointed that I won't get to see him before school. I set my stuff down and went to my kitchen. I opened the freezer and found the hot pocket box empty. Dammit Silver, he ate the last one! I don't really have anything else to eat. I walked over to my pantry and picked up a box of cereal. Silver was eating this after he exposed me in the shower. At least there's enough for one more bowl. I need to go grocery shopping soon.

I made my cereal and went to turn on the tv to listen to while I ate. I was watching the news when I heard a knock on my door. It must be Silver! I didn't give him a key yet. I got up to answer the door for Silver, but I was met with a woman with brown hair and blue eyes.

"Um, may I help you?" I asked. The woman looked at me with a frown.
"Where's Silver." She said while pushing past me to enter my apartment.
"I don't know, who are you?" I asked.
"I'm his sister." She answered while looking around the living room. So this is the crazy woman harassing Red.
"He's not here right now."
"That's fine, I'll just wait for him. Go make me some tea." She said while sitting on my couch. I frowned. I went into the kitchen to make this maniac some tea.

"How did you know that Silver would be here?" I asked as I handed her the tea.
"He told me he was living here with his boyfriend." She replied. Silver called me his boyfriend? I felt my face flush.
"Oh, your name is Blue right?"
"It is. So when did you two become an item?" She asked.
"Not too long ago I guess." I honestly didn't think that he would consider us a couple. I'll have to ask him about it tomorrow when I see him.
"What a shame." Excuse me?
"What?" I asked. Why would she say that?
"Out of all people to date, Silver chooses you." She said while sipping her tea. What's that supposed to mean?
"Is that a problem?" I asked, irritated.
"It's none of my concern. I just didn't expect you to be male." She replied. She must have some serious problem against two guys dating. She won't accept that Red is gay.
"You know that I know who you are." I said sternly.
"Because I'm Silver's sister?" She asked.
"No, I'm best friends with Red." I said. Blue looked up at me.
"Oh? You know him?"
"Yeah, and it's not cool to force him to marry you." I said with a scowl. I hate people like her.
"That's none of your business." She said with a blank expression. I was about to say something until the tv distracted me.

"Breaking News! Team Rocket base busted in Saffron City! Police have stormed through the Silph Company and arrested Giovanni, the Team Rocket boss!" A news reported said. The tv showed the Silph building and a large man in handcuffs.
"Shit." Blue said while standing up.
"What's wrong?" I asked. Why is she concerned.
"That's Dad. So he must be at the Silph Co." She explained.
"What?!" I yelled. Silver is there?! Blue shut the door before I could stop her. Is Silver in trouble?!
