I woke up late the next day, Shannon wasn't next to me anymore. I sat up straight and stretched out my arms. I heard strange noises from the cabin at the room door and stood up, seeing what it was. I went over to it, slowly and carefully. Stopping in front of it, I still heard the noises. I hesitated to open the door. What if it's an aggressive animal? It could attack me! I reached out to the knob and opened the door. My heart literally stopped beating, the adrenaline rushed through my entire body. "Holy fucking shit! Shannon, you goddamn asshole!" I yelled at my boyfriend. "Hey baby, relax!" He laughed. "I looked for a vacuum cleaner. I broke a vase with sand in it." "You scared me to death Shannon!" He laughed again. "That's not even funny hun!" "I'm sorry... How about I'll make it up to you?"
'Making up to me' was actually having sex and an english lunch. I love fish and chips and Shannon knew it. Once we had lunch, I went to a bakery to get some cronuts. I read an article about that bakery, saying they had the best things in town.
Back in the hotel we ate the cronuts at teatime. English tea wasn't bad, but I was a coffee person. We still had some time until the show, so I freshened up myself and got ready to leave. I went the setlist up and down, practiced the songs and drunk tons of coffee. At some point Tomo came in. He missed his wife and needed to talk to someone. We laid in the bed, staring at the ceiling and listening to the same old stories, which I heard more than once. "You know... I love her and i miss her when we're away." I snuggled up to him. "I know brother bear, just think about the day when you're back home."
