Is This Goodbye

Sibling rivalry

                The next morning Tiffany and Jason were eating their breakfast together their parents both had to work early today so it was just the two of them. Jason had thought a lot about his conversation with Timmy and decided he was right and he figured he should let his sister know about his change of heart. 

"Hey Tiff remember how I wanted you to introduce me to that cute friend of yours well don't worry about it anymore I decided to back off." Tiffany gave her brother a confused look he almost never changed his mind about anything she had to know what caused this change. "Well its not like I was gonna introduce you but I'm curious why the sudden change." Jason understood his sisters confusion even he was aware of how stubborn he could be. 

"I had a talk with Tim yesterday about it and he made a good point." The mention of Tim piqued her interest. "What did he say must have been good to get through that thick skull of yours." He rolled his eyes before answering. "He gave me an example he asked me how I'd feel if you and him started dating." 

Jason was still eating and didn't notice the shocked expression on his sisters face. "What did you say." He looked up confused. "About what." Trying to fight the blush rising in her cheeks as she responded. "About what Tim said how would you feel in that situation.... I'm just kind of curious about how you would react." 

Jason thought his sister was starting to blush but decided not to question it. "Well I told him part of me would like the idea of you dating someone that we're both already close to because then I'd know he wouldn't be a total ass but I could see why it would be awkward and I told him I probably wouldn't be able to hang out normally with someone that was dating you." Tiffany's jaw dropped at his last comment. 

"How could you say that to your best friend does his friendship really mean that little to you!" Although shocked by his sister's sudden outburst he quickly answered hoping to calm her down. "Tiff chill It's not like it was an actual situation and besides it was nothing against him personally I told him I didn't think I'd be able to hang out with any guys you end up dating it would just be to weird." His defense didn't have it's desired effect because without saying a word Tiffany left the kitchen and went to her room, not sure what he did wrong Jason decided to just leave her be for now.
