Chapter 21

I'm and idiot.

I fell for Hayes once.

He broke me.

I fell for Hayes twice.

He broke me.

I fell for Hayes 3 times.

He broke me.

I was too deep in thought and I didn't realize I dropped my textbook on the ground. As I went to go pick it up a boy had already got it for me. This boy was unfamiliar. He has brown that matches perfectly with his eyes. His teeth were perfectly straight too.

"Hey I'm Shawn" the boy replied.

•

"Oh hi, I'm bella, are you new here?" I asked.

•

"Umm yeah do you think you can tell me to homeroom, I know it sounds stupid, but I'm confused" Shawn replied.

•

"Sure can I see your schedule?" I asked.

He took out his schedule and handed it to me. His schedule was the exact copy of mine.

"I'm really excited! We have same exact classes!" I replied.

"Oh yay! So do you think you can take me class to class? I might get lost if I go by myself" Shawn giggled.

•

"Of course!" I smiled. "Here let's go to homeroom!" I chuckled, starting to walk with him.

So far he was one of the nicest boys I have ever met. I just really hope he doesn't turn into Hayes.

When 4th period was over, I walked with Shawn to lunch. I saw chad sitting at a table alone, waiting for me to join.

"Hey chad! This is Shawn, he's new here. Shawn, this is Chad, chad is one of my closest friends!" I giggled.

"Nice to meet you chad!" Shawn gave a toothy smile to chad and shook his hand.

"Oh great here comes the player" I rolled my eyes.

"The player?" Shawn asked.

•

"Well his name is Hayes, he was my bestfriend but then he kept hurting me, not physically, but we would be dating and I would catch him with another girl"

"They are on and off-" chad cut in.

•

"Don't worry, we'll be here to protect you" shawn wrapped his arm around my torso and he motioned to chad with his other hand. Chad nodded his head. I smiled so big. I probably looked like a doof but Shawn was actually SUPER SWEET. Not to lie, he is really attractive.

HAYES POV:

I walk into the lunch room and see Bella with some guy's arm around her! What the hell! Stay calm hayes.... I walked up to the table and sat next to chad, directly in front of the guy. I stared him up and down. Who was this guy?

"Hayes, this is Shawn, he's new" bella chuckled. She was adorable. But I can't believe she thinks I'm in love with Lily! Lily is pretty and all but seriously? Never.

•

"Nice to meet you shawn, " I shook his hand because I was trying to be nice.

•

"Nice to meet you hayes!" Shawn chuckled, he looked at bella, and they both just stared into each other's eyes for a few seconds. I remember when bella and I used to do that.

After school:

BELLAS POV;

I was waiting outside the school for the bus and of course it was freezing. Being the idiot that I am I didn't bring a jacket. A gush of wind blew onto me as goosebumps splattered all over my arms. I trembled.

"Bella are you okay?" Shawn asked.

•

"Uh yeah just a little cold" i answered, I stared at the ground.

Suddenly I felt a warm jacket being placed over my shoulders, I looked up to see Shawn looking down at me with a huge smile.

"Shawn your gonna get cold!" I replied, sliding the jacket off.

"I'm fine, please, I want you to stay warm"

•

I slid my arms through the sleeves and then I wrapped my arms around Shawn's waist so he could be somewhat warm.

"You need to be warm too" I replied smiling.

SHAWNS POV;

Bella was trembling. She looked so cold that she could get frost bite. I took off my jacket and put it over her shoulders. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back because she was so beautiful.

"Shawn your gonna get cold!" She replied, sliding the jacket off.

"I'm fine, please, I want you to stay warm" I answered.

•

She slipped her arms through the jacket and she grabbed my waist. I felt so perfect being next to her. I felt like I was meant to be there. I put my arm around her. I want her to be mine..
