chapter 20

~Davids pov~

We just pulled up to the restaurant where we were meeting my mom...

DM:" Laydybug!!!"
K:" Grandma!!!"
DM:" Hey David and Liza how are you"
L:" we are good thanks...and you?"
DM:" I'm good thanks for asking"

We walked inside and sat down...this was the perfect place to have lunch at...Liza got a salad and a water...Katie got Chicken tenders and a Chocolate milk...I got a hamburger and a water.... We made conversation for the rest of time we were there..

When we left Katie went with my mom....Me and Liza went back to our house...

L:" Hey, bubba are you remembering anything"
D:" No I can't remember anything....the last thing that I remember is us getting out of the car to go ice skating"
L:" Aww bubba that was 9 years ago"

I start to cry and liza ingulfs me in a bear hug...She rubs my back and shhs me...

D:" Why can't I remember anything pookie?!?"
L:" I have no idea bubba...none at all"
D:" Can you take me to where we got married"
L:" Sure bubba"

We got into the car and started driving...When we stop we end up at the beach ...

D:" we got married on the beach??"
L:" Ya we did bubba....it was your moms idea"

Liza went to the back of the car and grabbed her laptop...

L:" I have a few videos and photos from our wedding on here"
D:" Oh okay"
L:" You picked out our colors"
D:" what were they"
L:" purple and gray"
D:" oh okay"

We watched a few of the videos and searched threw the photos...I was hoping that maybe I would remember something by looking at all of these...but nothing came...

We got to the video of when Liza was walking down the isle...

I was standing down at the end waiting for her in tears...we watched a few more videos after that...

D:" Hey, remember when Gabbie dropped her phone and it started to play I like big butts"
L:" Ya I do that was hilarious...wait how do you remember that it was not in the videos"
D:" I don't know it just kind of came to mind I guess"
L:" that means that you are starting to remember again"

We hugged each other and went back to looking through the photos more...while looking threw them I was remembering more and more things that happened...I remeber Katie being born...I remember everything...

Katie had decided to stay the night at my moms and me and Liza had the rest of the night to ourselves...I went to bed that night happy as can be...

When I woke up the next morning Liza was sitting next to me except she was not pregnant and we were in a hospital room...

D:" Liza?"
L:" David!!! Oh David your okay!!!I love you so much!!! I've missed you!!! I can't believe it my bubble is finally awake and talking to me omg"
D:" Where's Katie?!?"
L:" Who's Katie"
D:" Our Daughter"
L:" David we do not have a daughter were only 20"
D:" wait so that was just a dream"
L:" ya bubba it was"
D:" why am I in the hospital"
L: you were in a coma for six months and you just woke  up...My bubba woke up and now you are here with me"

Liza squeezes me really tight and kisses me...

D:" So what has happened since I have been asleep"
L:" Nothing much...I mean I have been here the whole time with you"
D:" Did you ever leave"
L:" Umm no not really I have left maybe two or three times to get clothes for me and grab my shampoo...but that is it"
D:" Awww babe you were here the whole time for me"
L:" Of course I was bubba I could not stand to leave your side...
D:" when can I go home"
L:" ummm I don't know I will call the nurse in and you can ask her"
