Chapter 26

~Liza POV~

Its been three months without David..The whole months today exactly... I've lost hope of him coming back. He's gone forever. I've tried to move on but I can't. I miss him to much. I want him back. I miss his smile. I miss his laugh. I miss everything about David Anthony Dobrik. I thought that maybe Dobrik would be my last name in the future. I was wrong. He doesn't care for me anymore. This is all my fault.

I'm supposed to be getting out of the hospital today. I'm not very thrilled. My apartment won't be the same without David. I miss him. But the good thing is the...wait there is not one good thing in my life anymore. It won't ever be good unless I have David. Maybe I'll go up to Chicago and see him. maybe once he sees me he will change his mind. Maybe he will take me back. Who are you kidding Liza you know that David has probably found somebody better. Don't fool yourself. I hope he's happy. But I need to see him. Even if it the last time. I need to see him one last time.

The nurse walk in.

N:" Hey, hun here are your discharge forms"
L:" Thank you"
N:" No problem hun...stay safe"
L:" I will"

She walked out of the room. I called Gabbie to come and pick me up. She will be here in 10 min.

I got up and got changed out of the hospital gown. I changed into  red sweater crop top and high waisted jeans. I slipped on my converse and I waited for Gabbie to arrive.

10 min later she finally shows up in my room.

G:" Hey, Liza how you feeling"
L:" I'm okay I guess"
G:" that's good"
L:" Yup, can we go"
G:" Of course come on"

We walked out and went to Gabbie car.

L:" Will you take me to my apartment I need to grab some things"
G:" Are you going somewhere"
L:" Airport"
G:" Where you going"
L:" I don't know maybe down to Texas to see my parents"

I know I lied but she would not let me go if I told her I was going to Chicago to see David. She would never let me do that.  I need to see him. I have to. I cant live without seeing him one last time.

We finally pulled into my apartment. I went upstairs and booked a flight. I packed my bag and grabbed my passport and was out the door. I'm even closer to seeing David.

I got back into Gabbies car and she drove me to the airport.

When I got there I said my goodbyes. And rushed into the airport.

I made it through security and made my way to my gate. They checked my bag again. (I don't know how it is at airports so just bare with me)

I finally sat on the plane and looked out the window. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I was awoken by the air attendant. (a=Attendant)

A:" Hey, we landed and you need to get off now"
L:" Okay"

I grabbed my luggage and made my way off the plane.

I made it I'm in Chicago. This is where my David is. I can't wait to finally see him.

I called an uber and gave him Davids parents address.

We were making our way down streets that were vaigly familiar.

He finally pulled into Davids driveway. I'm here. I finally get to see my David.

I walk up to the door and knock. Davids mom answers.

DM:" oh Liza..how are you"
L:" I'm fine and you"
DM:" I'm good...Davids not here right now he's out with a friend..you can wait in his room if you want"
L:" Okay thank you...can you not tell David that I'm here please"
DM:" Of course hunny"
L:" thanks"
