Shattered heart and broken wings

Same old pattern, newer dreams

Nothing safe here, take the leap

Couldn't end up in many more pieces

Many places call your name

Homesick but they're all the same

New and different never seen

Every day seems so mundane

Then a person steps into

Everything you thought you knew

Takes the things you said before

and gives them meaning, ten times more

Slowly now your shattered heart

Becomes exposed, so now they start

To put the slivers back together

Broken wings are getting better
