I've been staying at August's house the past 2 nights after the fight with June. I know it sounds childish but the wound is too fresh to address, I need to face it sooner or later but in this particular case I'd have to choose later.

"Lets do something fun" August suggested, smiling a toothy grin.
"Like what" I laughed, knowing exactly where he was going with this.
He quickly climbed ontop of me, hovering over my body staring at me. "Maybe something like this" he smirked proudly, a smirk that soon disappeared once I had uttered "nope, sorry I'm busy."

I was giggling at him. "Shutup" he growled in amusement as he began kissing my neck. "Au-august stop" I was giggling hysterically at this point, as he worked his way over to to just under my ear. I put my hands in his curly hair and pulled it by the roots, earning a low grunt to escape his mouth and ripple off of my neck.

He pulled away from the kiss for a split second, long enough to remove his shirt and as his lips returned to mine, he pushed his hands up under my top and began massaging my breast. "Am I gonna have another grand baby" Sheila gasped in amusement, before hysterically laughing.

"Ma!" he groaned, pulling his shirt back over his head, as I laid with my face buried deeply into his shoulder in an attempt to hide my embarrassment.

"I've seen much worse with Ivy and Melvin honey" she giggled "And I've heard much worse from the pair of you!" She screeched breathlessly- probably from all that laughing she was doing. August and I looked at each other, before joining her in our own fits of laughter.

Later that day, I jogged down the road to Sophie's . She recently had her beautiful daughter Kayla and she wanted someone to talk to about her no good baby daddy.

"He had the ordacity to claim that I never helped him. ME! Who held his shit when the police were searching him! Who let him stay at their house whilst they were contributing absolutely nothing! I even gave him his first beautiful child!"

She laughed in anger. Sneak was a little older than Sophie and I, early twenties I think. He had a steady job as a mechanic during the day, but he ran the streets during the night, which is what scared her the most. She wanted him to leave this foolish behaviour behind him once Kayla was born - which isn't that much to ask, he needs to grow up!

It's been a little over a month and hes still leaving opportunity to bring danger to his baby girl's door.

"In his defence, this was a surprise to the both of you. Don't get me wrong, that's not an excuse for him to still play a thug, but maybe you should give him a little more time to adjust"

I defended him. Although he was once the kingpin of New Orleans and was always in handcuffs or In the back of a police car, he really did treat her like a princess. He defended his family till the death, and she was all he had left.

She fell in love with him a little over 2 years ago, when his grey joggers and waves caught her eye at a party on New Years.

He really was a handsome boy and I respected his admiration for his queen. "Thank you so much Maya, you and Esther the only ones that have bothered to even speak to me since I've had Kayla, when I was pregnant they wanted to feed me lies about how they're gonna be there for me.

You, Esther and Sneak are all my family. Either way, that fool ain't getting this ass thrown back on him tonight. Whack ass better learn how to pick up the phone" she laughed before shaking her ass playfully, showing me what Sneak most likely would not be missing out on tonight.
