Narrator: Brock the pewter city gym leader has heard of the might of our friend Scotty and went on a short journey to seek him through parts of the kanto region. Scotty and Brock both stood on opposite ends of the pokemon center battle field just outside of vermilion city to see who is the better trainer at full strength with no limitations holding neither one back who will win?
Scotty stepped forward with his newly evolved partner hitmonchan to the field of battle with piercing eyes at brock.
Scotty: So are you really brock?
Brock stared at scotty for a moment rubbing his sore cheek before answering.
Brock: Yeah....Ow* that's me some people actually call me the love sick gym leader too....... I'm just wondering did you battle a boy named isac at my gym?
Memories of the past battles flooded scotty's memories bringing the joyousness of beating isac.
Scotty: Yeah i won and got the boulder badge.
Scotty pulled out his trainer case and showed brock the shiny polished badge in the shining sunlight of the early morning sun.
Brock: I want to make wager for that badge of yours...
Hitmonchan and Scotty were both shocked to here this and shuttered just thinking about losing the badge.
Scotty: Why-y............... would you want this back?
Brock: No i don't want it back really i just want to see you and your pokemon's drive to keep moving forward.
Scotty looked at hitmonchan for a moment whom was still looking at brock.
Scotty: ( I don't want to lose this badge..... But what if i don't battle him........then what happen if he told the other gym leaders? )
Brock: I'm willing to give you 5500 poke dollars if you beat me and not to mention the satisfaction of actually beating the real pewter city gym leader. Their isn't many trainers today that can come to match my onix's power when he's with me.
Scotty thinking stopped when he heard how much money brock was willing to give him if he won.
Scotty: Damnit....(I'm running low on super potions and food i need some of that money i only got about 3000 for beating lt. suger)
Scotty turned from facing hitmonchan and stared at brock.
Scotty: Don't lie to me why would you give so much away to a boy like me!
Brock stepped back for a moment after the sudden outburst of scotty.
Brock: Wwhoa......I get money back weekly from the pokemon association for being a gym leader.......all gym leaders do actually so i always got money to spare.
Scotty: Oh......That makes sense....sorry for yelling i just don't want to lose the badge hitmonchan worked hard for it.
Hitmonchan: Hitmon! Hitmonchaaaa!
Hitmonchan lunged into the battle field slamming his gloves together warming up for a battle.
Scotty: Wait Hitmonchan! Do you really wanna battle him even at the lose of the badge what if you lose?!
Brock was shocked as scotty to see that hitmonchan wanted to battle even without scotty sending him out.
Brock: Alright hitmonchan do you want to battle?
Hitmonchan: Rah! Hitmonchan!!!
Slam!! The battlefield shook as hitmonchan hit the ground creating a fissure all the way to brock.
