I watched as Robin's body went limp. I looked back to Jane's father, he took his mask off and fell to his knees. Tears were streaming down his face. It was obvious where his priorities lied.
I looked to my parents who were smiling. My father looked and me and her and nodded. Jane put her gun away and followed as we walked out of the building. Her father didn't even glance at her once. She glanced down at him. All she wanted from his was a single shred of his love.
I laid in my bed. I couldn't sleep. There was a knock at my door.
I sat up and told them to come in. It was jane. she was in a pair of yoga pants and a black t-shirt. Her face was red and tears were streaming down her face. She walked over to me.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
I mentally kicked myself for it, of course she wasn't alright, she just broke her father and watched as she tore him to shreds.
She shook her head. I moved over in the bed offering her a spot. She sat down next to me. I pulled her into my arms in an attempted to comfort her. She curled up into a small ball.
"I am sorry for bothering you."I shook my head."It is no problem." I pulled her close to me.
"I have never done anything like that before."
I nodded knowing the feeling. it is a pain to kill someone. To have their life in your hand and just take it from them.
I don't know what it was but I felt a pang if sympathy for her.
I looked at her to see she fell asleep. I gently laid her down and out the covers on her.
I got dressed and put my gun in my belt. I walked out if my room, my parents were asleep so I didn't have to go through them.
I was back at the warehouse. Like I guess batsy was still there. He was kneeling down with his dead sidekick in his arms. I smiled taking my gun out and putting a bullet in the deadmans head.
Batsy looked up at me.
"What a father you are."
