Chapter 63- Girl In the Hallway

Deja's pov:

I couldn't take my mind off of what Daya was saying about welcome to hell. I stayed under my blanket until I heard a loud clicking of the door opening. Bella walked in drunk and almost falling over.

"Hey Deja" she yelled waving at me.

"HI Bells, You do know Zendaya's sleep correct?" I say.

She shakes her head and jumps into bed. I looked over at the clock that read 12:14 am.

I had to go to the bathroom. Seeing all the horror movies and crap, I was taught that when you stayed at a boarding school to never go alone. I look over at Bella who was knocked out sleep and Zendaya didn't look like she was going to get up either. I guess I'll just go alone, no matter how much I dread doing this, I have to.

I got up and opened the door. I grabbed my phone before leaving because I did remember Bella saying that this school's electrical wiring was messed up. Anyways. I went up the hall, I remember passing right by it on the way to Daya and Bella's dorm.

I was walking when I heard the pitter patter of small, child like feet. I turned around and shined the flashlight from my phone only to be waiting my time because no one was there. I shrugged and turned around and continued walking. Not even 30 seconds has past before the pitter patter of feet began once again.

I turned around and shined my phone light.

"OK Zendaya, this isn't funny!" I was quit clear at what I meant.

However I didn't see anyone.

"Bella?" I assumed it was her.

There was no one. I turned back around for the 2nd time not only to find a young girl with no face standing before me. I scream and turn around and ran.

"Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!" I scream.

I didn't stop screaming or running until I almost broke my neck getting into the dorm room. Both Zendaya and Bella sat up.
"What's wrong Deja? Why were you screaming?" Daya asked.

"There was this girl *Takes deep breath and breaths heavy* with no face *takes another break* standing right in front of me in the hallway." I explain.

The looks on their faces tells me they weren't surprised.

"Oh, Ok. Well let's sleep shall we" Bella said rudely ignoring the fact that I'm losing my mind. Clearly.

"Bella!" Daya said sternly

"What? She had her first paranormal experience, we should throw a party or we cou----" she couldn't finish because Daya cut her off

"No!" she looked at her then at me.

"What did she look like?" she asked.

I did the best I could with trying to refresh my memory. It was hard to forget actually.
"Well she was white, she had straight hair that was tied in a bun, and she was very skinny and had on a black dress that stopped about 2 inches above her knee" I described her the best way I could

"Did she speak or anything?" she questioned me like she knew what I was gonna say.

"No. At first I heard these child like footsteps on the way to the bathroom. I turned around to find no one. Then the 2ns time I turned around, no one. When I turn around to continue walking, boom, there she was. I took off before I knew it" I explained.

"Her looks sound familiar" she said

"Who does she look like? " I ask.

" It sounds to me like that Dora check that was crazy" Bell said.

"I didn't even want to say it. Do you know what will happen if she ever came back? I don't wanna go through that again and I certainly don't want her to go through it" she said to Bella.

What were they talking about? Go through what?

"What are you guys talking about? " I sat down on the air mattress.

Bella and Zendaya exchange strange glances." Nothing" Zendaya responded.

"I know there's more to nothing" I say

Bella replied first. "Let's just say.... This school may be haunted"

"Haunted? What do you mean haunted?"
