LevyWe finally got our seats on the train, Gajeel bought us a nice suite. It even had a private bathroom. Why he did this, I have no clue. I honestly would have been fine in one seat the entire time. But Gajeel even made sure that we had bunks. I try my hardest not to over think that.
"Hey Shrimp?" Gajeels questioning glance shook me out of my reverie.
"Yeah," I responded in a whisper, afraid to look at Gajeel. I was terrified of the love I might see in his eyes. My body couldn't take that; I would probably end up breaking down.
Gajeel looked at me funny. " You ok shrimp?"
"Yeah Gajeel, just not feeling so great. I'm a bit light-headed is all."
"You gonna be sick again?" Gajeel looked at me worriedly.
"I might, but I'll be ok. I always am."
I started shivering violently. It was awfully cold in here. Gajeel saw this and rushed to my side, he knelt down and despite my protest picked me up, laying me down on the lower bunk. I know he must have felt sick as a dog too. I don't know how Gajeel managed to keep it down, but he did. "I'll be back in a sec shrimp." I heard the door click closed, I am so tired. I shut my eyes for a bit, I must have dozed off a bit. I hear the door click again and register that Gajeel must be back. Still, I can't seem to open my eyes, that scared me a little bit.
"Here" I heard someone say to me gruffly. It took me a moment to open my eyes. I looked up to see Gajeel, he looked at me with concern but didn't say anything. He held out both his hands one had a glass of water in it, and there were several coated capsules in the other.
I looked at Gajeel curiously. "What is that?" I asked scrunching up my nose at the site of pills. I've always detested medication and the thought of taking something that might make me feel worse.
"Sedative. They don't help much for the motion sickness, but they take the edge off by knockin' ya out. Was thinking maybe they'd help ya a bit as they help me. I don't like seeing you in pain so here."
Still, I scrunched up my nose but took them and the glass of water from Gajeel gratefully. I swallowed them in one big gulp. After about 15 minutes I started to feel dizzy, so I laid down, but my head hit something hard. Definitely not the cushion. I thought it might have been the side of the car. I peeked up through my eyelids and was shocked to see Gajeel leaning against the outer train wall snoring. I would have moved, but honestly, I was too loopy to even think about it. So I closed my eyes and fell fast asleep. But not before I felt a hand entangled in my hair stroking it softly.
