Just a quick authors note. The video on the side is one I found yesterday and I had to share it with you. She is an amazing singer and she is going to be huge one day. The song has nothing to do with this chapter at all, I just thought it was cool.

"What was that?" he demanded as soon as we were out of earshot of the older persons.
"What was what?" I asked, beginning to climb the stairs. Of course I knew what he was talking about, I just felt like winding him up a bit. He stepped in front of me, preventing me from moving onwards. The worst part was that it made him that much taller so I was a midget compared to him. It didn't help that I was already shorter than him.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. What was that crap about us meeting ten years ago?"
"Well genius, since it seems you've already forgotten, I've been told that I'm a 'distant cousin' of yours and when Hunu asked me about you, I had to say something." I pushed past him, continuing up the stairs. Liam raced up so he was walking beside me.
"And she believed you?" he looked at me with an eyebrow raised. He obviously didn't believe me.
"It's called acting. Ever heard of it? It's the stuff they do in movies!" I replied in the voice I used on little kids. He scowled once again and I rolled my eyes. "After taking drama for four years now, you'd think I'd pick up a little about improvising."
He stopped talking after that, lost in thought. I didn't mind. I was grateful for the silence. I swear, boys and their stupidity are going to be the death of me. That and school exams. Seriously, when am I ever gonna use algebra in real life?
We finally reached the third floor and entered the hotel room that seemed to be the meeting place. I made sure to check the room number so I remembered which one was mine. 214. My birthday.
As soon as we stepped inside, Harry shot up from the couch. "Did you find her?" were the first words out of his mouth. I gave him a What the fuck do you think? look and headed into the kitchen to get a drink. There were plastic bags all over the counters and floor. Looks like they went grocery shopping.
"Where was she?" I overheard Harry hiss to Liam.
"In the kitchen," he hissed back.
"Shit, we forgot to feed her." Harry cursed as I filled a glass I had managed to find with water. I walked back out and leaned against a pillar that was connected to one of the counters. If you look out over the counter, you could see a dining table that could fit eight people comfortably and if you turned your head to the right, you could see the lounge and tv.
"You're making me sound like a stray cat you found on the street." I remarked casually, scaring the jeepers out of them. I took a sip of water and grimaced. City water tastes like it came from a swimming pool. That's why I loathe it with a passion that burns brighter than the fires of hell. I placed the glass on the counter.
They regarded me warily as I made my way over to what I had started to call my chair.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna kick any of you in the privates anytime soon." I said as I plonked myself down. Someone had replaced all the cushions neatly so I threw them all on the ground again. I heard an annoyed sound and turned my head to find Liam standing behind me. I'm guessing it was him who'd put the cushions back.
"So why the huge urgency to see me? It'd better be good, I was enjoying talking to Hunu." I said, crossing my legs over and leaning my arm on the side of the chair.
