It was time for lunch, and Brendon usually sat alone on the second floor stairwell during his lunch period. As he sat down on the stairs, he couldn't stop thinking about Dallon, and how blue his eyes were. And he was very tall. Brendon was very short, so Dallon seemed even more big to him. Brendon remembered the way Dallon had held him, close, so he could feel the taller boy's heart beating. Brendon sighed, a small smile on his perfect face. Meanwhile, Dallon was still reeling from the encounter. Why had he done what he did? Why had he gotten so close to Brendon? And almost kissed him???!!! Dallon wasn't gay. He didn't have anything against gays, because, come on, everyone but Pete and Patrick could tell that Pete and Patrick were in love, and those were Dallon's close friends. If he didn't like gays he wouldn't be friends with them. It was just that Dallon k n e w he was straight. He had been his whole life. It wasn't like Dallon could just change that. People were born gay or straight, and he was straight. Right? Dallon was still thinking when Gerard sat down across from him at their lunch table and proceeded to go into a detailed explanation about how goats could be used as fossil fuels come the apocalypse. "Great, yeah, totally" Dallon said, as he wasn't really paying attention to Gerard. Gerard laughed "Dude, did you even hear what I said?" he asked, now giggling. "Um, no?" Dallon said sheepishly. "It's okay, man. I was just talking about how goats could potentially be used as fossil fuels come the apocalypse." said Gerard. Dallon nodded, still very confused. "Okay..." he said. Gerard started laughing again, and Dallon eventually joined in, still shaken up from Brendon. They finished lunch a little later, and headed to their fourth period classes. Gerard had Choir, and Dallon felt sick to his stomach, but also extremely excited, because for fourth period he had English... with Brendon Urie.
