Dallon finally made it to English, and as he walked in to the classroom he noticed Brendon sitting in the back. Dallon usually chose a seat towards the rear of the room, but today since Brendon was there... Dallon sat down at the front of the classroom, in the very first row. He put his head down and tuned out the whole of the period. Brendon was also not in the zone during most of the class, and neither of them were really thinking about school. They were thinking about each other, and how they both regretted what they had said just before the class had begun. After school, Dallon jumped on the bus and listened to music. But as the song came up on his playlist, he realized it was the song he and Brendon had been singing in the bathroom. Luckily, the only friend he had on this bus was Breezy, but he was avoiding her so she stayed away and let him have his peace and quiet, giving him the chance to agonize over Brendon.Brendon also took the bus after school, but his bus dropped him off at a different stop than Dallon's. Granted, the two buses both let off at the same street corner in the same neighborhood, but due to the pointless  zoning ordinances, students who lived on the same street were required to take separate buses. As the bus that Dallon was on stopped at the corner, Brendon's bus was pulling up. The boys got off at the same time and froze when they saw each other across the street. Dallon looked away quickly, blushing bright red, but Brendon jogged across the way to meet him. "Hey, Dallon!" Brendon called out as he stepped onto the sidewalk beside Dallon. "Um, hey", said Dallon, "What do you want?" He asked in a pained voice. "I just wanted to say hello", Brendon said quietly, "andthatIregretwhatIsaidearlierbecauseactuallyIthinkIreallylikeyoualot." Dallon blinked, trying to decipher what he'd just heard. "Brendon?", The taller boy said hesitantly, "I think I like you too. But I'm not gay or anything like that." Brendon looked up sharply and sighed. "Yeah, sure, no homo." Brendon sighed.
